News reports said the Indian Air Force declared the AFCAT 02/2025 result in September 2025. Scroll reported September 17, while Jagran Josh reported September 16; the dates differ, and the IAF archive page cited below lists a result notice for AFCAT 01/2025, not AFCAT 02/2025. Candidates can check their own status through the AFCAT portal, subject to the historical result link still being available.
Where to check the AFCAT 02/2025 result
The reported access route is the official AFCAT portal: afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/. Contemporary reports say candidates sign in with the email ID and password used for their AFCAT application, then view their qualifying status and download the result shown for their account. The portal is dynamic, and availability of the historical result page has not been independently confirmed.
- Open the official AFCAT portal at afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/, or start from the Indian Air Force career site.
- Sign in with the email ID and password associated with your AFCAT application.
- Open the AFCAT 02/2025 result area, check the status displayed for your account, and save or download the result if the option is available.
- If the old result page is no longer available, check the official IAF site for current instructions. Do not enter your credentials on an unverified third-party page.
The login steps are based on contemporaneous coverage by Scroll and Jagran Josh; neither a live historical result page nor its current availability was verified. A general result announcement does not disclose an individual candidate’s status.
When was the result declared?
The two contemporaneous reports disagree on the date: Scroll reported September 17, 2025, while Jagran Josh reported September 16, 2025. The IAF news archive lists “AFCAT 01/2025 RESULTS ARE OUT NOW!” under March 17, but that is a different exam cycle and does not establish the AFCAT 02/2025 release date. The archive page was marked last updated August 21, 2026 when surfaced.

What AFCAT 02/2025 covered
The Indian Air Force notification describes AFCAT 02/2025 as officer entry for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches, with NCC Special Entry, for courses commencing in July 2026. The online exam was scheduled for August 23 and 24, 2025, with August 25 set as a reserve day. See the Indian Air Force career site for the official notification and current guidance.
Qualifying in the written exam is not the same as completing selection. The IAF notification places AFCAT within a selection process that can include further Air Force Selection Board assessment for candidates who qualify.

If you cannot access the result
- Check that you are using the email ID and password associated with the application, rather than a different email account.
- Use the official AFCAT or IAF site to look for current instructions if the historical result link has expired or is missing.
- Do not treat third-party result headlines as confirmation of your own outcome; only the candidate-specific account view can show your status.
