Why AAICLAS extended the deadline
In a notice dated June 30, 2025, AAICLAS said a technical malfunction in its payment gateway for application fees had affected candidates. It moved the deadline for both Advertisement No. 01/2025 and Advertisement No. 02/2025 from June 30 to July 7, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The notice said, “Please note all other general conditions will remain unchanged.” Read the deadline-extension notice.
What the 393 vacancies included
The figure combined two separate advertisements. The vacancy counts below are the numbers advertised in 2025, not a guarantee of final hiring; AAICLAS described the figures as tentative and subject to operational requirements.

How the two jobs differed
Security Screener (Fresher)
Advertisement No. 01/2025 required a degree from a recognized institution. The minimum marks were 60% for General, OBC and EWS candidates, and 55% for SC/ST candidates. The maximum age was 27 as of June 1, 2025, with relaxations specified in the notice. Duties involved screening cargo and in-line hold baggage. Assistant (Security)
Advertisement No. 02/2025 required Class 12 from a recognized institution, with at least 60% for General candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates. The maximum age was 27 as of June 1, 2025, with relaxations specified in the notice. Duties included airport operational support and passenger-baggage handling, including loading and unloading and lifting baggage from conveyors and X-ray machines. Both advertisements said applicants should be willing to serve anywhere in India and that postings could change for operational or administrative reasons. The qualifications, duties, fees, document requirements and selection terms were role-specific; the original notice for each post is the appropriate reference for those details.
