The application window for Airports Authority of India’s 89 Eastern Region Junior Assistant (Fire Service) posts, Advertisement ER/01/2024, closed on January 28, 2025. The old cdn.digialm.com application link is not a current opportunity to apply. AAI’s recruitment dashboard continues to show the recruitment record and later updates; check it for any new notices rather than treating the old listing as an open vacancy.

What happened to the AAI Junior Assistant application?

AAI invited applications for 89 Junior Assistant (Fire Service) posts in its Eastern Region. Scroll reported the opening on December 31, 2024, and gave January 28, 2025, as the deadline. That application period has expired.

The AAI recruitment dashboard identifies the recruitment as “RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR ASSISTANT (FIRE SERVICE) IN AAI, EASTERN REGION (ADVT NO. ER/01/2024)” and lists 89 posts. Its July 27, 2026 update is a later update to the recruitment record, not evidence that a new application window has opened. Check AAI’s recruitment dashboard for current notices.

What were the reported eligibility details?

Scroll’s December 2024 report said applicants needed domicile in one of these states or territories:

  • West Bengal
  • Bihar
  • Odisha
  • Chhattisgarh
  • Jharkhand
  • Andaman & Nicobar Islands
  • Sikkim

The same report stated an age range of 18 to 30 years as of November 1, 2024, with relaxation for reserved categories. These are details reported by Scroll; the available AAI dashboard record does not establish the full eligibility rules.

What application fee was reported?

Scroll reported a fee of ₹1,000, including GST, for UR, OBC, and EWS applicants. Its report does not provide a complete category-by-category fee table, so the fee or exemption for other categories cannot be confirmed here.

Was there a direct application link?

Scroll’s instructions directed applicants to cdn.digialm.com to select the application link, complete the form and required information, and save or print a copy for reference. That link related to the expired application period; it should not be used as an indication that applications are currently accepted.

Where to check for a new AAI vacancy

Use the official AAI recruitment dashboard to look for new recruitment notices and their stated deadlines. A past recruitment entry or an old registration link does not itself mean that a vacancy is open. The dashboard record cited here confirms the recruitment identity, post count, and later update, but does not establish qualifications, selection stages, physical standards, pay, or category-wise vacancy distribution.
