Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s business career spans music, consumer products, publishing, spirits, and film and television. His official website currently groups his work under Music, Spirits, Film, and Philanthropy; older reporting documents ventures such as G-Unit apparel, Formula 50, and SMS Audio, but does not establish that those consumer lines remain active today.
What 50 Cent’s current public profile shows
Jackson’s official website presents Music, Spirits, Film, and Philanthropy as categories and links to a Sire Spirits shop and distribution inquiries. These are the areas he currently foregrounds publicly, not a complete inventory of companies he owns or proof that every historical venture is still operating.
That distinction matters when assessing a celebrity’s portfolio: a past product launch, a reported investment, a brand partnership, and a current operating business are different things. The available reporting supports a timeline of expansions, but not a consolidated valuation or current revenue figure for Jackson’s businesses.
Music and the G-Unit brand
Music provided the commercial platform for Jackson’s wider brand. G-Unit grew beyond the group and music activity into a broader brand, but the group, record label, clothing company, and licensed products should not be treated as a single legal entity.

#1 Best Overall
A 2007 Village Voice profile interviewed Jackson at G-Unit Clothing headquarters, showing apparel was a visible business concern at that time. A later BET overview also lists G-Unit Clothing among his notable ventures. These accounts establish historical activity, not a current retail operation.
Apparel and footwear: G-Unit extensions
Historical coverage records G-Unit clothing and a G-Unit shoe line associated with Reebok. They illustrate how Jackson’s music identity was extended into physical consumer products. The cited reporting does not confirm that either line is currently sold or operated by Jackson, so they are best understood as past brand extensions.
Rank #2
VitaminWater and Formula 50
Jackson was reported to have invested in Glacéau VitaminWater and collaborated with the company on Formula 50, a branded beverage. The business story is often reduced to a headline payout, but published accounts give conflicting figures: a 2013 CBS News release reported $60 million in earnings from the investment when Coca-Cola acquired the company, while Fortune reported $100 million in proceeds in 2015. Neither figure is established here by a primary transaction filing or ownership records, so neither should be treated as a verified personal payout.
The dependable takeaway is that reporting connected Jackson to an investment and a product collaboration. The conflicting figures are a reason to avoid treating a widely repeated dollar amount as settled fact or as recurring income.

SMS Audio and other consumer products
Fortune identified SMS Audio as Jackson’s headphone company in 2015. In a 2013 account, CBS News reported Jackson said he sold $300,000 worth of headphones during a ten-minute QVC appearance. That is an attributed account of a sales event, not independently audited sales data. The cited coverage does not establish SMS Audio’s current availability or operating status.
Jackson also published books, including From Pieces to Weight and The 50th Law, which BET lists in its overview of his ventures. Publishing adds a different kind of product to the portfolio: books can extend a public identity without being the same kind of operating business as a consumer-goods company. Editions and current availability can vary.
Boxing promotion: an expansion that did not succeed
Not every business expansion worked. Fortune’s 2015 profile reported that Jackson’s boxing promotions company had failed. That is a historical account of the venture’s outcome; it does not establish anything about Jackson’s present-day business activity in boxing.
Sire Spirits: Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne
Spirits are among the business categories highlighted on Jackson’s official website, which links to a Sire Spirits shop and a distribution inquiry contact. The named brands include Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne. The site’s shop and inquiry links are evidence of a current public-facing presence, but they do not establish precise ownership economics, sales, or margins.

In 2023, the Washington Commanders announced Branson Cognac as the team’s official cognac and Le Chemin du Roi as its official champagne. The announcement documents the partnership at that time; it does not confirm that the arrangement remains in force. In an October 2025 interview, XXL also covered a 505 Edition Branson cognac collaboration with Lalique, a more recent example of Jackson using a premium product collaboration to develop the spirits brand.

Jackson’s official website lists Film among its current categories. Forbes discussed G-Unit Film and Television and projects in development in a 2023 interview. In an October 2025 interview with XXL, Jackson described the size of his pipeline this way: “I currently have 40 shows across 12 different networks, 10 of them are going towards air,”. This is his claim about projects at that time, not an independently verified count or a description of a confirmed 2026 slate.
Production work is distinct from the older consumer-product ventures: projects in development or moving toward broadcast do not, by themselves, establish a show’s release, audience, or financial performance.
Philanthropy and commercial activity
Jackson’s official website also lists Philanthropy and links to G-Unity. Forbes described the foundation’s Houston youth business-program activity in 2023. Philanthropic work should be kept separate from commercial ventures, even when a sports or brand partnership is also presented as supporting community programs; charitable activity is not evidence of commercial revenue or ownership.
Quick Recap
How to read the venture timeline
- Current public-facing categories: Music, Spirits, Film, and Philanthropy appear on Jackson’s official website.
- Historically documented consumer extensions: G-Unit apparel and footwear, Formula 50, and SMS Audio appear in older coverage; that evidence does not confirm present operation.
- Reported outcomes or claims: The VitaminWater payout accounts conflict, the QVC headphone figure is attributed to Jackson, and the film-and-television count is his dated 2025 statement.
- Partnerships: The Commanders’ announcement establishes the spirits partnership as announced in 2023, not its status today.
