A 2016 report identified eight gold-colored vehicles associated with Saudi royal Turki bin Abdullah: a Mercedes-Benz G63 6×6, Range Rover Autobiography, Lamborghini Huracan, Lamborghini Aventador SV, Bentley Flying Spur, Rolls-Royce, Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 918. It is a historical media-reported list—not a verified inventory of cars he owns today. “Gold” describes their reported appearance; the sources do not establish that the vehicles were made of solid gold.
Which eight cars did the 2016 report name?
The Drive’s April 1, 2016 article listed these models in connection with Turki bin Abdullah’s gold-chrome car collection. The identifications are based on media coverage; the list is not an official ownership register.

Were the cars actually made of gold?
There is no evidence in these accounts that the cars were made of solid gold. The Drive describes them as gold-chrome-wrapped; Gulf Insider calls them painted gold; and Infobae describes a group in London as “autos bañados en oro” (“cars coated in gold”). None supplies a technical specification confirming the finish’s material or process. The careful description is therefore gold-colored cars, or gold-finished cars as reported—not solid-gold vehicles or definitively gold-plated cars.

Does the list represent the prince’s current collection?
No. The eight-car list comes from a 2016 media report, and the cited coverage does not establish current ownership, location or finish. A 2022 National article names only a subset. Reports of London sightings describe a smaller group—including a Lamborghini, Mercedes six-wheeler, Bentley and Rolls-Royce—but do not show that all eight appeared together or remain in one collection.
The reports also do not support a dependable total collection value. Historical prices quoted for some London vehicles in Gulf Insider should not be treated as current valuations or added up as the value of all eight cars.

Is this the same as the diamond-encrusted Mercedes story?
No. The gold-colored-car reports concern Turki bin Abdullah. A separate story involved a crystal-encrusted Mercedes-Benz SL 600 and Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. In a January 30, 2014 statement, Alwaleed’s private office said: “HRH Prince Alwaleed does not, and never has, owned or had any association with a ‘diamond-encrusted Mercedes-Benz.’” The office identified Garson/D.A.D. in connection with the pictured crystal-encrusted car. That denial concerns Alwaleed and a different vehicle; it does not verify or disprove the reported Turki bin Abdullah list.
