The $24 price in the headline is not confirmed by STARZ’s offer page reviewed on October 8, 2026. That page displayed a limited-time annual offer of $29.99 prepaid for 12 months—about $2.50 per month before any applicable taxes. It also said the plan renews monthly at the then-current price, listed as $11.99 per month, unless you cancel. Check the checkout before subscribing because STARZ says offers and prices can change.
What does the STARZ annual offer cost?
STARZ’s official U.S. offer page displayed $29.99 for 12 prepaid months, not $24, when reviewed on October 8, 2026. The page described it as a limited-time offer but did not give an expiration date. Taxes may apply, and the displayed price is not a guarantee that the same offer will appear for every customer or remain available.

STARZ says its plans and prices can vary and change, and that specific promotional requirements are provided when an offer is presented. Confirm the total and terms on the live checkout screen before paying: STARZ sign-up page and STARZ Terms of Use.
Who can get the offer, and how does it renew?
The offer page says it is for new and previous STARZ App subscribers who re-subscribe through starz.com. It does not establish that customers billed through a cable, app-store, or other distributor qualify.

The offer automatically rolls over after the 12 prepaid months to a month-to-month subscription at the then-current monthly rate unless you cancel. The offer page listed that rate as $11.99 per month, plus applicable taxes, when reviewed on October 8, 2026. Check the checkout terms for the renewal price that applies when you subscribe; STARZ’s terms say pricing may change.
How to avoid an unwanted renewal charge
- Check who bills you. If you subscribed directly through STARZ, use your STARZ account settings to manage or cancel. If you subscribed through a distributor, cancel through that distributor.
- Cancel before the renewal date. STARZ’s terms say cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so you can generally keep access through the period you paid for. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge.
- Do not count on a refund. STARZ generally does not provide refunds or prorated billing for canceled subscriptions unless applicable law requires it.
STARZ’s terms say, “YOU CAN CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AT ANY TIME,” but that does not mean cancellation immediately ends paid access or reverses a charge. See STARZ’s cancellation and billing terms for the conditions.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is a year of STARZ worth the upfront payment?
Compare the upfront annual cost with the monthly renewal price and your expected use. At the offer page’s displayed terms, $29.99 covers 12 prepaid months; after that, the listed $11.99 monthly rate would cost $143.88 over 12 months if it remained unchanged and you kept the subscription. That is an illustration based on the October 8, 2026 displayed rate, not a promise of the future price.
