Microsoft Rewards è un programma gratuito collegato al tuo account Microsoft: accumuli punti con attività idonee, come le ricerche su Bing, alcune attività nella dashboard e acquisti selezionati, poi puoi usarli per i premi disponibili nel tuo mercato. In Italia il catalogo e le modalità di guadagno possono cambiare: per sapere cosa è effettivamente disponibile, controlla le pagine Rewards del tuo account.
Come funziona Microsoft Rewards
Per partecipare basta un account Microsoft; Microsoft afferma che il programma non richiede commissioni né impegno. Quando svolgi attività idonee mentre sei connesso all’account associato a Rewards, puoi ricevere punti. I punti non sono denaro e non si possono considerare un saldo convertibile liberamente in euro.

Come si guadagnano punti Microsoft Rewards?

- Ricerche con Bing: effettuale mentre sei connesso all’account Microsoft iscritto a Rewards. In base all’idoneità locale, possono essere conteggiate anche ricerche da dispositivi mobili o dalla casella di ricerca sulla barra delle applicazioni di Windows.
- Attività nella dashboard: visita la pagina Earn o il pannello Rewards per trovare attività aggiornate, come quiz e giochi a quiz. Le offerte mostrate lì sono quelle da verificare per il tuo account.
- Acquisti selezionati: alcuni prodotti idonei acquistati nel Microsoft Store possono assegnare punti. Non tutti gli acquisti sono necessariamente validi.
- Attività Xbox: alcuni titoli o missioni Xbox possono offrire punti, se l’attività è disponibile e idonea nel tuo mercato.
Microsoft segnala anche Bing, MSN, Xbox e l’app mobile Bing come possibili punti di accesso alle opportunità Rewards. La disponibilità delle attività da mobile, i limiti giornalieri e le condizioni cambiano da regione a regione. A cosa servono i punti e quali premi si possono riscattare in Italia?
I punti servono a richiedere le offerte presenti nella pagina Redeem del tuo account. Microsoft menziona, fra gli esempi, gift card, giochi, app, film, partecipazioni a sweepstakes e donazioni a organizzazioni non profit. Non è detto che ogni categoria, o una specifica offerta, sia sempre disponibile in Italia.

Microsoft include l’Italia fra le regioni in cui Rewards è disponibile, ma il catalogo italiano può differire da quello di altri Paesi e cambiare nel tempo. Prima di accumulare punti in vista di un premio specifico, controlla le offerte visibili nel tuo account e valuta costo in punti, tipo di premio, disponibilità e condizioni di consegna. Puoi consultare l’elenco delle regioni Rewards e le istruzioni Microsoft per il riscatto.
Come riscattare i punti
- Accedi con l’account Microsoft collegato a Rewards e apri la sezione Redeem o la pagina dei premi.
- Controlla le offerte effettivamente mostrate e scegli quella per cui hai abbastanza punti. Verifica le condizioni e gli eventuali requisiti prima di confermare.
- Completa la procedura di riscatto richiesta. Se Microsoft chiede un’autenticazione telefonica, usa un numero mobile o fisso: i numeri VoIP non sono accettati per tale verifica.
- Per controllare i dettagli della richiesta, consulta la cronologia ordini. La conferma e le informazioni sull’ordine sono disponibili lì.
Il riscatto deve avvenire nel mercato in cui l’account è stato registrato. Microsoft sconsiglia di usare una VPN per mascherare la posizione: consulta la guida al riscatto per le condizioni applicabili.

Scadenza dei punti e livello 2
Microsoft afferma che i punti scadono se non svolgi attività di accumulo per 12 mesi. La regola è legata all’assenza di attività di guadagno, quindi non dare per scontato che il saldo resti valido indefinitamente: per il testo completo, consulta la pagina Microsoft sull’accumulo.
Secondo Microsoft, gli utenti di livello 2 possono avere maggiori opportunità di guadagno su Bing, punti sugli acquisti nel Microsoft Store, risparmi sui riscatti e offerte esclusive. Vantaggi, condizioni e tariffe non sono necessariamente uguali in tutti i mercati; verifica il livello e le informazioni visualizzate nella tua dashboard. Usa il tuo account reale e le attività proposte da Microsoft, senza cercare di automatizzare l’accumulo o aggirare i limiti. Microsoft avverte che account multipli, dati non corretti, bot, macro, emulatori e tentativi di guadagnare in più mercati possono portare alla sospensione dell’account o all’invalidazione dei punti.
