The other figures below are also media estimates, not audited disclosures. Here are the ten names and reported amounts, with those limitations made clear.
How to read this ranking
Parade’s October 2026 roundup repeats net-worth estimates attributed to Celebrity Net Worth. Neither source provides verified accounting of the dancers’ assets, liabilities, or income. The amounts are best understood as reported estimates, not confirmed personal fortunes. Several entries are tied, so the list does not establish a precise order within each tied group.

The title of the show is often styled Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). It pairs celebrities with trained ballroom dancers for choreographed competition routines, according to Disney’s series media kit.
The 10 pros and the estimates cited for them
-
Kym Johnson — $100 million, with a major qualification
Parade lists a $100 million figure drawn from Celebrity Net Worth, but explains that the estimate is Robert Herjavec’s reported net worth and that it contributes to Johnson’s ranking. It is therefore spouse-linked household context, not a clean, independently established estimate of Johnson’s individual wealth, and is not directly comparable with the other entries.

Julianne Hough — $12 million
Parade repeats Celebrity Net Worth’s $12 million estimate. ABC describes Hough as a two-time professional winner and current host, with acting and other entertainment work beyond the ballroom. Her reported estimate should not be read as a breakdown of earnings from any one role.
-
Derek Hough — $8 million
Parade cites Celebrity Net Worth’s $8 million estimate. Celebrity Net Worth’s separate profile also displayed $8 million when last updated September 17, 2026; that is corroboration of what the publisher reported, not independent financial verification. ABC describes Hough as the franchise’s only six-time champion and documents his work as a judge, touring performer, and author.
-
Maksim Chmerkovskiy — $8 million
Parade repeats Celebrity Net Worth’s $8 million estimate. The roundup does not provide a verified accounting or a precise breakdown of how his ballroom and other work contribute to the figure.

Parade lists Celebrity Net Worth’s $5 million estimate. As with the other single-publisher valuations, it should not be treated as a confirmed total of assets minus liabilities.
-
Mark Ballas — $4 million
Parade repeats Celebrity Net Worth’s $4 million estimate. ABC’s biography documents three DWTS championships as well as television, Broadway, choreography, and music work; it does not assign a financial value to those activities.

Why the estimates are not a clean measure of DWTS earnings
Net-worth estimates combine assumptions about assets and liabilities that the listed publishers do not substantiate with public financial statements. The figures may also vary with the publisher and the date of its estimate. Johnson’s spouse-linked figure is an especially clear warning against treating every number as an individual valuation.
Career breadth offers context, not a way to calculate a fortune. ABC documents Julianne Hough’s hosting and acting work, Derek Hough’s judging, touring, and authorship, and Mark Ballas’s television, Broadway, choreography, and music work. Those biographies show that their careers extend beyond competing as pros, but the sources do not establish the income share from any activity or prove what is included in an estimate.
What is known about pro pay
Parade says reports suggest a DWTS pro’s compensation may reach around $100,000 per season, while explicitly noting that ABC has not confirmed the figure. It is an unconfirmed reported maximum, not a verified salary or a typical payment. It cannot be multiplied across seasons to produce reliable lifetime earnings.
