MEXC’s Year-End Golden Era Showdown was a futures-trading promotion that ran from November 26 to December 17, 2025. The exchange advertised prizes including a 2,000g gold bar and 6 BTC, with a prize pool of up to 10,000,000 USDT. Registration and the draw window have ended; the announcement describes advertised prizes and terms, not proof that rewards were ultimately paid.
What MEXC announced—and what the headline amount meant
In an announcement published November 20, 2025, MEXC promoted its Year-End Golden Era Showdown as a futures-trading competition with prizes including a 2,000g gold bar, 6 BTC and futures bonuses. MEXC valued the gold bar at 300,000 USDT and described the total prize pool as “up to” 10,000,000 USDT. Those are MEXC’s stated promotional figures, not independently verified values or evidence of a fixed amount distributed to winners. The maximum was conditional: MEXC said participation could unlock higher prize tiers. MEXC’s official announcement and terms do not establish whether the prizes were awarded.

All of these windows have passed. The promotion is not open for registration or trading toward its rewards.
How the advertised reward tracks worked
MEXC described three volume-based tracks. Each required registration and qualifying futures activity; the thresholds were not a promise of a reward with a particular cash value.

Early-bird mystery box
Users who registered during the early-bird period and traded at least 50,000 USDT in futures qualified for a mystery box with a futures bonus in the 10–200 USDT range. MEXC stated that the early-bird pool was 50,000 USDT and that distribution was first-come, first-served.
Which trades counted
MEXC’s terms defined qualifying volume as futures trades with fees greater than zero. They excluded specified stablecoin futures and said trading statistics used UTC+8, even though the campaign schedule above was presented in UTC. MEXC stated that futures bonuses were valid for seven days. These were campaign-specific terms, not general rules for all MEXC futures activity.

What the gold-bar and prize terms allowed
The “2,000g gold bar” was an advertised prize, but MEXC’s terms said physical rewards would be converted into USDT airdrops based on pricing on its official website. The exchange also reserved the right to adjust prizes and substitute rewards of equal or higher value. A gold-bar winner had to participate in platform or social-media promotional activity to receive the corresponding rewards.
Winners of prizes valued above 10,000 USDT had to complete Advanced KYC within seven days or lose eligibility. These conditions qualify the headline prize description: it did not guarantee delivery of a physical bar.

How MEXC said the ultimate lottery would be decided
MEXC described a draw using the last five digits of the first Bitcoin block hash generated after December 17, 2025, 12:00 UTC. Tickets were ranked by consecutive matching digits from right to left, with a stated tiebreaker. This is the procedure the exchange announced; the announcement alone does not verify that a draw took place according to that method.

The official campaign announcement records MEXC’s advertised terms, dates and prize claims. It does not confirm that anyone received the gold bar, BTC or other rewards, and no independent participation or payout statistics are established by that announcement. Accordingly, the 10,000,000 USDT figure should be read as a conditional promotional maximum—not as a guaranteed pool or proof of payment.
