The available record of his Huddersfield connection began with a reported purchase agreement. On 28 March 2023, BBC Sport reported that Nagle had agreed to buy the club from Dean Hoyle, subject to the required procedures. What are Nagle and the club planning for the Terriers?

In an October 2024 interview, Nagle discussed a prospective hotel and said the club would need to find partners. He also acknowledged that hotel construction and British building law were outside his expertise. He framed the idea as complementary to the stadium’s events and hospitality business. Sacramento Republic FC announced a documentary series in February 2026 about Nagle’s football ownership journey across Sacramento and Huddersfield. In the announcement, Nagle described similarities between Huddersfield and Sacramento and their respective clubs.
