Thermo Fisher’s colleagues page also attributes a statement about its workplace to Lisa Britt, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer: “Science moves the world forward, and our colleagues make it possible. How many Thermo Fisher employees are in the United States?
Thermo Fisher said it had more than 50,000 U.S. employees in an announcement dated April 24, 2025. That figure is for the United States alone, so it should not be compared with or substituted for the worldwide total of 124,878 reported at year-end 2025. The announcement also said the company had 28,000 U.S. employees in 2017.
