That was 4% more than in 2024. Airbus later reported 351 deliveries in the first half of 2026 and set guidance of around 870 for the full year; the 870 figure is a target, not a completed annual total.

Airbus’s 2025 delivery announcement says the company delivered those aircraft to 91 customers worldwide. Airbus reports its commercial-aircraft total separately from its helicopter business.

The A320 Family accounted for the largest share: 607 of 793 aircraft, or roughly three-quarters of the total.
What is Airbus’s 2026 delivery target?
In results published on 29 July 2026, Airbus reported 351 commercial aircraft deliveries in the first half of the year and retained full-year guidance of around 870. The first-half figure is an actual count; the full-year number is company guidance and should not be read as a result already achieved. See Airbus’s H1 2026 results.

Why does the annual delivery count change?
Deliveries are the number of aircraft handed over to customers during a year, so they reflect the pace at which Airbus can complete and deliver planes—not a fixed annual production rate. Airbus has cited supply constraints, including significant Pratt & Whitney engine shortages, as factors affecting its production ramp-up.
Airbus also said a supplier quality issue affecting fuselage panels led it to update its 2025 delivery guidance to around 790 in December 2025. The final reported count was 793. In its FY2025 results, Airbus said it expected A320 Family production to reach a monthly rate of 70 to 75 by the end of 2027, then stabilise at rate 75. That is a production-rate plan, not a forecast of annual deliveries.
