On Tuesday, 3 March 2026, reported 24K gold in Pakistan was Rs549,962 per tola, down Rs13,900 from the previous session. The better-supported reported 24K silver rate was Rs8,904 per tola, down Rs1,146. These are historical rates reported for that date—not live prices.
Gold and silver rates in Pakistan on 3 March 2026
Business Recorder reported the local rates below as supplied by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Pakistan Revenue reproduced the dated figures, and Times of Karachi also reported the gold rates. They are press-reported market benchmarks, not independently verified official records or a guarantee of what a jeweller charged a customer.

The gold rates and daily changes, as well as the Rs8,904 silver rate per tola and its change, were reported by Business Recorder. Pakistan Revenue’s dated table includes the 22K gold and silver-per-10-gram figures and corroborates the other listed rates: Pakistan Revenue. Times of Karachi also reported the same gold rates and daily changes.
International gold and silver prices
International prices were reported in U.S. dollars per ounce, a different unit and currency from Pakistan’s local rupee-per-tola and rupee-per-10-gram quotes.

Why reports show different silver rates
Not all reports published on 3 March agree on silver. Business Recorder and Pakistan Revenue list 24K silver at Rs8,904 per tola and Rs7,633 per 10 grams. Pakistan Observer and ARY News instead list Rs13,003 per tola and Rs11,145 per 10 grams.

ARY News pairs the higher silver figures with gold at Rs563,862 per tola—the gold figure other same-date coverage identifies with Monday, 2 March. That pairing suggests the silver entry may have been stale or mismatched, but the available reports do not establish the cause. Without the original APGJSA notice, the discrepancy cannot be definitively resolved. For 3 March, Rs8,904 per tola is the better-supported reported silver rate, while the conflicting figure should not be treated as settled.

How to read these rates
- Check purity: 24K and 22K are separate quotes; the listed 22K figure is per 10 grams.
- Match the unit: Compare per-tola rates with per-tola rates, or per-10-gram rates with the same unit.
- Keep currencies and markets separate: Local Pakistani quotes are in rupees; international quotes here are in U.S. dollars per ounce.
- Treat the daily changes as reported declines: The sources link the market moves to international declines, but the figures alone do not establish a cause, forecast, or buying recommendation.
- Do not use this dated snapshot as a live quote: A jeweller’s customer price is not established by these reports.
