How to interpret these rates
A tola and 10 grams are different weight units, so compare prices only after matching both the unit and purity. The table also separates 24-karat and 22-karat gold rather than treating them as interchangeable. The cited reports do not establish a buyer’s final jewelry or bullion cost, which may also reflect workmanship, premiums, taxes or a dealer’s spread.

Reports did not agree on the price level
Pakistan Observer’s report for the same date listed gold at Rs450,700 per tola and silver at Rs6,140 per tola, above the figures in the three matching reports. The available reporting does not explain the difference, and the original APGJSA release was not retrieved. Accordingly, the rates in the table are best described as figures reported by outlets attributing them to APGJSA, not as independently confirmed directly by the association.
