That historical claim is distinct from the report’s separate list of four Gamefam-operated games among Roblox’s top 10 brand games by visits during 2024. The figures describe the company’s reported performance at that time—not a current ranking or independently audited results.
What the top-15 claim means
In a report published December 19, 2024, and updated June 18, 2025, GamesBeat said Gamefam held five of Roblox’s top 15 branded games of all time. The report did not provide enough detail to independently verify the ranking methodology or underlying dataset, so the claim is best understood as a ranking reported by GamesBeat, not an independently confirmed measurement. GamesBeat’s report attributed the performance to Gamefam’s mix of developing and operating branded games and placing brand integrations inside existing popular games.
That all-time top-15 claim should not be confused with the report’s separate ranking by visits during 2024. GamesBeat identified four Gamefam-operated titles among the top 10 brand games on Roblox by visits for that year:

How Gamefam’s brand activations worked
Gamefam’s reported approach combined standalone branded experiences with integrations in existing games. A standalone game gives a brand a dedicated destination; an integration puts branded content inside a game that already has an audience. Ricardo Briceno, Gamefam’s chief business officer, told GamesBeat: “The shift toward integrating into popular games with millions of daily users, rather than building standalone experiences, makes sense because brands are recognizing the value of reaching players where they already hang out.”
GamesBeat reported that integrations made up 57% of Gamefam’s brand activations in 2024, while standalone experiences accounted for 43%. In 2023, the split was 37% integrations and 63% standalone experiences. These percentages describe Gamefam’s reported activation mix, not the entire Roblox market.

The report’s examples also extended beyond a single Roblox game. A 30-day Super Bowl LVIII quest involving the NFL and Paramount ran across five games. Gamefam reported more than 75 million total visits and 985 million minutes of brand engagement for that campaign. A Coldplay multi-game takeover on Roblox generated more than 25 million visits and 295 million minutes of brand engagement, according to Gamefam figures reported by GamesBeat. Visits and engagement minutes are different measures: the first counts visits, while the second represents time spent engaging with the brand.

GamesBeat reported that Gamefam recorded more than 2.7 billion brand engagements in 2024 and more than 45 billion gameplay sessions to date. CEO Joe Ferencz said, “It was a huge growth year for the company. Our portfolio is now at 64 million daily visits, including either ownership or exclusive partnerships with a suite of the top 25 games on Roblox.” GamesBeat described those 64 million daily visits as spanning Gamefam’s owned games and exclusive partnerships.

How to interpret the numbers
- Rankings measure different periods: the five-of-15 statement is an all-time branded-game claim; the four titles listed above are a 2024 annual ranking by visits.
- Visits are not unique players: the report gives visit totals and daily visits, but those measures do not establish how many distinct people played.
- Engagement minutes are not the same as visits: campaign minutes describe time spent, while visit figures count visits.
- Attribution matters: the rankings and company scale figures are reported by GamesBeat, with several campaign and portfolio metrics attributed to Gamefam. The report does not establish independent validation of their methodology.
