The same coverage described the family’s Jutland Parade project as a seven-level mansion with 3,500 square metres of interior space. Those details are historical reporting: available sources do not establish whether either home sold or the mansion’s current status.
Which Franco family homes were reported for sale?
Mario and Maggie Franco’s Hobbs Avenue home
PerthNow’s 4 August 2022 report said Mario and Maggie Franco had listed their five-bedroom, six-bathroom home on Hobbs Avenue in Dalkeith. The report did not establish a sale or provide a current listing status.
Michael and Leanne Franco’s Circe Circle home
The same article said their son Michael and his wife Leanne had listed their Circe Circle home. Citing RP Data, it reported that the couple bought the property in 2012 for $3.7 million and were inviting offers in the mid-$5-million range in 2022. These are historical reported figures, not current asking prices or valuations. PerthNow’s 2022 report
How large was the Jutland Parade mansion?
PerthNow reported in 2022 that the Franco family was building a seven-level mansion on Jutland Parade, with 3,500 square metres of interior space. The article compared that reported figure with 3,012 square metres for Alan Bond’s former Dalkeith home. Both figures are attributed to PerthNow’s reporting; they are not independently audited measurements. PerthNow’s mansion report

The same 2022 coverage described neighbouring homes owned by Michael and Robert Franco as 2,800 square metres each, and said each of the three homes had space for 16 cars. These are particulars reported by PerthNow, rather than verified specifications.
Why earlier coverage gave a different area
A 2017 PerthNow article estimated the project’s build area at 3,400 square metres and described a 16-car undercroft car park and a boat shed. That earlier build-area estimate is not directly interchangeable with the 2022 report’s 3,500-square-metre interior-space figure: the descriptions differ, and the reports were published years apart. What is known about the project’s planning context?
A City of Nedlands council agenda dated 26 November 2019 refers to a retrospective stair-landing addition to a single house at 40 Jutland Parade and names M. R. Franco. This is limited planning context; the agenda reference does not establish the mansion’s completion or its present status. City of Nedlands council agenda, 26 November 2019

The listings and construction descriptions above reflect reports published in 2017 and 2022. Later records for other Jutland Parade addresses—including a reported 2025 sale—do not verify the sale, ownership or current market status of the Franco homes, nor do they establish whether the mansion was completed. The available evidence therefore supports a historical account, not a current property-status update.
