Learners interact with a facilitator and other attendees, take part in workshop activities and can ask questions during class. Whether that suits you depends on the course, its dates and the credential or certificate you need.
What RTP’s virtual classroom is like
RTP says its digital classroom was developed for its training and designed to support participation. In the provider’s description, learners interact with the facilitator and other attendees, view and complete workshop activities, and receive training resources. Support staff are available to help troubleshoot during training. RTP characterizes the format as distinct from self-paced eLearning because participants can ask questions in real time and take part in facilitator-led activities.
That is RTP’s description of its delivery model, not an independent assessment of the platform or evidence that virtual classes produce the same outcomes as in-person training. RTP publishes a student testimonial from Gary Lucas, who said the virtual classroom was “as good as any face-to-face courses I have ever attended.” That is one learner’s reported experience, not a guarantee of equivalent results for every course or participant.
Which subjects and delivery options RTP offers
RTP lists courses in auditing, quality, environment, occupational health and safety (OH&S), food safety, risk management, business continuity, information security and compliance. Its delivery options include public face-to-face courses, live virtual training, online eLearns and tailored in-house programs.
#1 Best Overall
The distinction matters when choosing a course: a live virtual class has a scheduled facilitator-led format, while an eLearn is the option to investigate if you need self-paced study. An in-house program may be worth asking about when an organization needs training tailored to its team. Confirm the delivery method and the specific course content before booking.
Examples of scheduled virtual courses
RTP’s 2026 public course calendar includes virtual dates for Information Security Management Systems, Risk Management Fundamentals, Business Continuity, and Psychological Health and Safety at Work. Dates and availability can change; check the current calendar and confirm the time zone and open places directly with RTP before enrolling. View RTP’s 2026 public course calendar.

Credentials and provider background
RTP identifies itself as an Exemplar Global certified TPECS provider and an Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO 46389). The provider says its nationally recognised units cover lead auditing, managing business risks and supporting organisational resilience. These are provider-reported claims; if recognition or registration is essential to your decision, verify the relevant current certification or registration and confirm that it applies to the exact course and unit you plan to take.
RTP’s company history says the training business began as Auditor Training Centre in 2005, became part of PwC Australia in 2016, and relaunched as Risk Training Professionals in 2024. RTP also states that its trainers have more than 150 years of combined experience; this is the company’s own figure, not an independently validated measure.

For an individual, start with the course subject, the skills or credential needed for your role, and whether a scheduled live class works with your availability. For an organization planning training for several employees, RTP describes prepaid corporate bundles that allow seats to be allocated across eligible public face-to-face and live online courses during a 12-month term, subject to availability. Ask RTP for current bundle terms, eligible courses and seat-allocation conditions before budgeting.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to confirm before enrolling
- Course fit: Confirm the syllabus, prerequisites, intended audience and the certificate or nationally recognised unit, if any, attached to the specific course.
- Delivery and schedule: Check whether the session is live virtual, face-to-face or self-paced; verify the date, time zone, duration and current availability.
- Technical requirements: RTP’s published description does not specify the platform vendor, required bandwidth, supported browsers or devices, or whether sessions are recorded. Ask about any requirement that could affect your participation.
- Accessibility and support: Ask what accommodations are available for your needs and how to contact support during class.
- Recognition: If an RTO or Exemplar Global credential is consequential for employment or compliance, verify current standing and that the precise course meets your requirement.
- Team arrangements: For a corporate bundle, confirm eligible courses, availability, allocation rules and the 12-month term in the current offer.
