Generally, yes: iSeeCars estimates a Ford Bronco depreciates less over five years than the average midsize SUV. Its model-level estimate puts Bronco depreciation at 32.7% over five years, versus 46.4% for midsize SUVs. That is a useful comparison, not a promise about what a particular Bronco will sell for; the vehicle’s year, trim, mileage, condition, options, location and sale method all affect its value.
How much value does a Ford Bronco retain?
iSeeCars’ live Ford Bronco estimate, accessed in 2026, shows depreciation rising with the length of ownership. Its figures are model-level estimates, not guaranteed resale prices or offers for a specific vehicle.
| Ownership period | Estimated depreciation | Estimated value retained | Estimated residual value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 years | 12.3% | 87.7% | $35,776 |
| 5 years | 32.7% | 67.3% | $27,436 |
| 7 years | 63.1% | 36.9% | $15,069 |
| 10 years | 73.8% | 26.2% | $10,685 |
These estimates come from iSeeCars’ analysis of more than 15 million vehicles. The site says it estimates depreciation using new and used prices and accounts for automaker and vehicle segment, but its live Bronco page does not identify a publication date. Treat the figures as accessed in 2026, not as a fixed forecast for every model year or market. See the iSeeCars Ford Bronco resale estimate.
How does the Bronco compare with other vehicles?
For the five-year comparison, iSeeCars estimates 32.7% depreciation for the Bronco, compared with 46.4% for midsize SUVs, 44.8% for all SUVs and 41.7% for all cars. The comparison suggests the Bronco performs better than those broad groups in that estimate; it does not show that every Bronco will out-resell every vehicle in them.

Kelley Blue Book offers a different kind of comparison. Its 2026 Best Resale Value Awards project residual values for model-year vehicles and name the Toyota 4Runner as the off-road SUV winner. The Bronco is not among the release’s category winners or top-ten models. That omission is not a Bronco-specific residual estimate or a comparison of completed Bronco sales. KBB says its projections are future auction values for a vehicle in average condition with 75,000 miles at the end of a five-year lease or ownership period; it also says an average 2026 model-year vehicle retains about 45% of its value after five years. What can change the value of your Bronco?
A category-level depreciation estimate cannot account for every detail of an individual vehicle. To get a meaningful estimate, match the details as closely as possible:

- Model year and trim: Bronco variants are not interchangeable. An estimate for one trim should not be applied to another.
- Mileage and condition: Wear, damage and higher mileage can affect an appraisal.
- Options and accident history: Valuation tools may account for equipment and reported accident history.
- Location and local demand: Comparable vehicles and buyer demand vary by market.
- Sale method: A dealer trade-in estimate and a private-party estimate represent different transaction routes and may produce different amounts.
For example, Edmunds’ displayed value curve is for a no-option 2026 Bronco Stroppe Edition four-door with a 2.7L V6. Its broader used-value range also depends on condition, mileage and options, so that curve should not be treated as a value guide for other Bronco trims. - Enter the exact vehicle details. Use the model year, trim, mileage, options, condition and accident history that apply to your Bronco.
- Check estimates for your location. Compare values based on local listings or comparable vehicles rather than relying only on a national average.
- Compare trade-in and private-party values separately. A dealer offer is not the same as an expected private sale price. Car and Driver notes that state tax treatment can affect the comparison, so consider the net cost of each option where relevant.
- Use more than one estimate as a range, not a guarantee. Car and Driver says its calculator uses Black Book data and considers age, mileage, condition, options, accident history and comparable local prices. No online estimate replaces an actual offer or completed sale.
