Crust Pizza’s Lunch Piadina is a folded sandwich made with the chain’s signature pizza dough. Retail Food Group said the five varieties launched across more than 130 stores, but that was a launch-time company claim—not confirmation of current availability everywhere. Crust’s Australian menu now labels Piadina “AVAILABLE AT LUNCH ONLY” and asks customers to select a location to check availability and pricing.
What is a Crust Lunch Piadina?
Crust describes the Piadina as “part pizza, part sandwich”: its signature pizza dough is folded around lunch ingredients, made to order and served with dipping sauces. The product launch was framed as a new single-serve lunch option.
What were the five Crust Piadina flavours?

What did “nationwide” mean at launch?
Retail Food Group said the Piadina was launching across “more than 130 stores nationwide.” The announcement page does not establish an exact calendar launch date, and its wording does not define the geographic scope of “nationwide.” Treat the figure as the company’s description of the rollout at launch, not a current store count or a promise that every Crust location carries the sandwiches. Retail Food Group’s launch announcement contains the rollout claim; QSR Media Australia also reported on the launch and varieties.

How to check whether a local Crust serves Piadina
- Open the Crust Australia ordering menu.
- Select the location you want to order from.
- Check the menu for Piadina and review the location-specific price and availability shown for that store.
The current menu marks Piadina “AVAILABLE AT LUNCH ONLY.” Because Crust directs customers to select a location for pricing and availability, the local menu is the practical check before ordering.
What Crust said about the lunch opportunity
Crust Pizza Marketing Manager Zak Marr said lunch accounts for 25% of daily sales in the Quick Service Restaurant category. That is Marr’s attributed claim: the announcement does not identify an underlying dataset, geography or methodology, so it should not be read as an independently verified market statistic. Marr also said company consumer testing scored the product highly, but no sample size, method or score was supplied.
