Tigerfish is the Cottesloe Beach Hotel’s bar and dining venue at 104 Marine Parade, Cottesloe. Its current description combines a coastal setting, Southeast Asian influences and seafood-led dishes intended for sharing. The venue’s published hours and opening-status messages do not fully agree, so check directly before visiting or booking.

What is Tigerfish at Cottesloe Beach Hotel?

Tigerfish is a bar and dining venue within the Cottesloe Beach Hotel, overlooking the Indian Ocean. The venue describes its approach as coastal dining with Southeast Asian accents, fresh seafood-led sharing dishes and a playful drinks menu. Its menu page says the format is intended to suit occasions from post-swim bites to longer dinners.

Find it at 104 Marine Parade, Cottesloe WA 6011. The venue’s about page and menu page provide its own current description and address.

Is Tigerfish open, and when can you go?

The official pages conflict: Tigerfish’s contact page lists lunch and dinner hours, while the Cottesloe Beach Hotel’s Tigerfish page still says “OPENING SOON.” That means the published hours are not, by themselves, confirmation that the venue is currently operating. Check directly with Tigerfish before making plans.

  • Listed lunch: from 12 noon, Monday to Sunday.
  • Listed dinner: from 5 pm, Monday to Sunday.

These hours appear on the Tigerfish contact page; the conflicting status message appears on the hotel’s Tigerfish page.

What is the menu like?

The current official menu description emphasizes seafood-led sharing dishes that pair coastal freshness with Southeast Asian influences. It also frames the menu for both quick post-swim visits and longer meals. The menu landing page does not establish specific dishes, so check the live menu for current offerings rather than relying on launch coverage or assuming a particular item is available.

Can you book a table?

Tigerfish distinguishes between its bar and dining room: the bar is described as walk-ins only, while dining uses table bookings. Confirm that bookings are available for your date, given the conflicting opening-status messages. The booking distinction is set out on the venue’s about page.

What was announced for the venue?

A PerthNow report published on 2 October 2025 described Tigerfish as a forthcoming bar and dining concept, then expected to be unveiled before the end of that year. It said the plans included ocean views, modern design, Southeast Asian flavours and an open robata grill, with Melbourne-based Mitchell & Eades and creative agency Projects of Imagination named as collaborators. These are launch-period plans, not independent confirmation of the venue’s current design or features.

In that launch coverage, Prendiville Group Executive Director Warwick Prendiville said: “Cottesloe’s hospitality scene is subtly transforming for the better, and Tigerfish aims to offer a fresh new flavour that celebrates and respects our amazing beachside lifestyle.” The same report quoted him describing the design as “the mix that keeps the experience fresh, surprising, and distinctly Cottesloe.” These remarks describe the intention behind the launch, rather than an independent assessment of the finished venue. PerthNow’s 2 October 2025 report contains the announcement and quotes.
