The latest dated figures established here are Irish Independent Rich List estimates of €150 million in 2018 and €156 million in 2019. They were associated with Brenda Salters and her family’s stake in SHS Group—not a verified disclosure of her current individual net worth. No newer personal estimate or current financial disclosure is established by these sources.

What Brenda Salters’ reported net worth figures say

The Irish Independent’s 15 January 2018 profile placed Brenda Salters at €150 million on its Rich List, up from €135 million in 2017. Its 25 January 2019 profile listed €156 million, compared with €150 million in 2018. These are historical Rich List estimates; the profiles do not provide a detailed valuation method or establish a current personal balance sheet.

Publication year Reported figure What the profile says
2018 €150 million The Irish Independent’s Rich List profile also gives €135 million for 2017 and describes Salters and her family as owning 50% of SHS Group. Irish Independent, 15 January 2018.
2019 €156 million The profile gives €150 million for 2018 and says Salters and her family controlled just over half of SHS Group. Irish Independent, 25 January 2019.

The €6 million difference between the two headline estimates should not be read as a measured increase in Salters’ personal wealth. The figures are separate Rich List estimates, and the profiles do not explain enough about their valuation methods to support that conclusion.

Why SHS Group is central to the estimates

The Irish Independent described SHS Group as a Belfast distributor co-founded by Salters’ late husband, Geoff. The 2019 profile said Brenda Salters and her family assumed control of just over half of the group in 2009, after his death. The reported Rich List wealth is therefore presented in a family-business ownership context; it does not reveal how assets or ownership were divided among family members.

The 2019 article also reported a £9 million (€10.1 million) dividend paid to shareholders in the year it described, alongside a small increase in profits. It said those factors contributed to the family’s increased wealth estimate. That company/shareholder report does not establish that Salters personally received the full dividend, any particular portion of it, or a specific amount of individual income.

What is known about her current position

UK Companies House records show that Brenda Ann Salters’ appointment as a director of SHS Group Limited ended on 12 November 2025. The filing history also lists group accounts made up to 27 December 2024. A director appointment ending is a change in company office; by itself, it does not show whether she retained shares or how her personal wealth changed. The filing history is available from Companies House: SHS Group Limited.

The dated Rich List entries do not establish a newer estimate, a current personal net worth, personal asset allocation, or present shareholding. Those points should not be inferred from the old estimates or from a director-role change.

Brenda Salters is not ESPN reporter Lisa Salters

The Brenda Salters in the Irish Independent wealth profiles is a businesswoman associated with SHS Group. She is not ESPN journalist Lisa Salters. ESPN’s official Lisa Salters biography describes the reporter’s broadcasting career and does not connect her to Brenda Salters.
