The Lava Probuds 21 really was offered for ₹26, but only as a limited-stock Republic Day promotion on January 26, 2023. The offer was announced for Amazon India and Lava’s online store, with sales reported to begin at 12:00 p.m. IST. It is a historical deal—not a price readers should assume is available now.
What the ₹26 offer was
Contemporaneous reports described an official, limited-stock promotion for Lava’s Probuds 21 true-wireless earbuds on India’s 74th Republic Day. Gadgets 360 reported that Lava announced the price for Amazon India and its own e-store, starting at noon on January 26, 2023. Coverage variously described the offer as valid for the day or until stock ran out; in either case, the ₹26 price was not a permanent reduction. Gadgets 360’s report and HT Tech’s coverage both describe the promotion.
Some coverage reported the Lava e-store code PROBUDS26, according to The Tech Outlook. Gadgets 360’s account of Lava’s announcement did not specify a code, so the code should not be treated as a universal requirement or assumed to have applied on Amazon. A separate code, LAVA26, was reported by the Times of India in connection with broader smartphone discounts; that does not establish it as the Probuds 21 checkout code.
Why reports give different regular prices
Coverage did not settle on one ordinary or reference price. The Times of India cited ₹1,299; Gadgets 360 described ₹1,499 as the launch price; and HT Tech reported ₹2,199 as the retail or regular price. These may reflect different price points, revisions, variants, or reporting, but the available accounts do not establish a single explanation. The defensible comparison is that the reported figures ranged from ₹1,299 to ₹2,199, with ₹1,499 specifically described as the launch price—not that one figure is a confirmed universal MSRP.

| Wireless connection | Bluetooth 5.1 |
| Battery | Up to 9 hours from the earbuds; up to 45 hours with the charging case |

For additional specification details, see Cashify’s offer coverage and the Gadgets 360 report. “Up to” battery figures describe maximum claims, not guaranteed runtime. IPX4 is not waterproofing and does not mean the earbuds can be submerged. A stated 75ms mode does not by itself establish lag-free gaming across phones, apps, and games.

What a ₹26 checkout did—and did not—mean
The attraction was the exceptionally low promotional price for entry-level true-wireless earbuds with a case, touch controls, assistant compatibility, and splash resistance. But the low headline price alone did not verify the final payable amount or the product’s performance. The historical reports do not establish whether every order avoided delivery charges or other checkout costs, nor do they establish current stock, seller identity, warranty terms, or replacement support.
- If the listed price changed at checkout, the selected colour, seller, promotion terms, coupon eligibility, and delivery charges could all matter. A search-result price is not the final order total.
- If a coupon failed, do not interchange PROBUDS26 and LAVA26: the former was reported for the Lava e-store Probuds promotion, while the latter was associated with broader smartphone offers.
- Limited stock meant the offer was not necessarily available to every shopper. A failed order could mean the allocation had sold out.
- The cited reports do not establish active noise cancellation, multipoint connectivity, wireless charging, a companion app, or transparency mode. They also do not provide independent tests of sound, microphone quality, real-world latency, battery life, comfort, or durability.
Is the ₹26 deal available now?
The documented promotion took place on January 26, 2023. The reports do not verify a current ₹26 price or active offer. Anyone considering the model today should check the live listing and the final checkout amount directly on Amazon India or Lava’s online store, including the seller, delivery charges, warranty, and return terms. Those are channels named in historical coverage, not confirmation that the Probuds 21 is currently listed or sold there.
