Apple Card’s published purchase APR for new accounts is 17.49%–27.74% variable, based on creditworthiness, as of July 1, 2026. That range makes your offered rate and whether you pay in full more important than the card’s no-fee claims or rewards if you might carry a balance. Apple Card also offers Daily Cash, spending and interest tools in Apple Wallet, optional Savings, Family account controls, and conditional 0% financing on eligible Apple purchases. Goldman Sachs remains the issuer while an announced transition to Chase is pending.
What is the Apple Card interest rate?
Apple lists a variable purchase APR of 17.49%–27.74% for new accounts, based on creditworthiness; those rates were current as of July 1, 2026. This is a published range, not a rate quote for any individual applicant. Existing cardholders can check their own APR in Wallet or at card.apple.com. Apple’s application page is the source for current published terms, which can change.

Apple says it calculates interest using a daily rate derived from the APR and the number of days in the year. The daily rate is applied to the end-of-day balance; daily interest amounts are added and rounded to determine monthly interest. In Wallet, you can adjust a proposed payment amount and see an estimate of the interest that may result. Estimates are not a substitute for your account’s statement and terms.
Paying the statement balance in full by the due date is the practical way to avoid purchase interest when possible. If you carry a balance, use your own APR and account details to assess the cost rather than relying on the range for new accounts.

Does Apple Card have an annual fee?
Apple advertises no annual fee, foreign transaction fee, or late fee. These are fee terms, not a promise that borrowing is free: interest can still accrue on an unpaid balance, and Apple says it can continue to accrue after a missed payment. Paying late or less than the statement balance can therefore cost money even when no late fee is charged. Review Apple Card’s current terms for the applicable account conditions.
How much Daily Cash do I get?
Apple’s published rewards structure is 3% Daily Cash at Apple and select merchants, 2% when you pay with Apple Pay, and 1% when you use the titanium card in stores or the virtual card number online. Daily Cash is earned after a purchase posts, and the timing can vary by merchant. Eligibility, exclusions, and merchant participation apply; check Apple’s current terms before counting on a particular purchase to qualify.
The channel matters: a purchase that earns 2% through Apple Pay may earn 1% if you use the physical card instead. Compare rewards against how you actually pay and where you shop, and weigh them against interest if you expect to revolve a balance.

How do I increase my Apple Card limit?
Goldman Sachs sets the initial credit limit after approval. Apple says its decision considers credit score, existing credit use, income, and minimum payments on existing debt. Apple says a cardholder may request an increase after as little as four months, but neither that timing nor approval guarantees a higher limit. There is no standard or typical limit established here.
Use the request option in Wallet or contact Apple Card support for the current process; the available interface can change. Before requesting, make sure the income and financial information on file is accurate. A higher limit is not assured, and an increase should not be treated as permission to take on unaffordable debt. Apple’s support page covers credit-limit requests.
What does Apple Card Family allow?
Apple Card Family lets an Owner add a Co-Owner and Participants who belong to the same Apple Family Sharing group. The key distinction is liability: Co-Owners have equal rights and share responsibility for the account. Apple warns that each Co-Owner is liable for all balances, and both can see account activity. Co-ownership is not simply a way to share convenience or rewards.

Apple says Participants can be invited starting at age 13; Participants aged 18 and older may have the opportunity to build their own credit history. The feature’s availability and effects are subject to Apple’s terms. Apple’s Family support information explains roles and controls.
How Apple Card Savings works
Apple Card Owners and Co-Owners can individually apply for Apple Card Savings. After setup, future Daily Cash is routed there automatically, though you can change the destination to Apple Cash. You can also add funds from Apple Cash or an external bank. Savings has no fees or minimum balance requirement under Apple’s stated terms, but eligibility and balance limits apply.

APY is variable and may change at any time, so treat that figure as dated rather than guaranteed. Savings is provided by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch, Member FDIC. Money in Savings is not directly available through Apple Pay; transfer it to Apple Cash or a linked bank account to spend it.

Is Apple Card Monthly Installments really 0%?
Apple Card Monthly Installments (ACMI) is an optional 0% APR payment choice at checkout for eligible Apple products purchased in the United States. You must select it, and approval, available credit, and product eligibility restrictions apply. ACMI is not a general-purpose 0% APR offer for other purchases or balances. Check the terms shown at checkout for the specific product and purchase.

Goldman Sachs is the current issuer. Apple and JPMorgan Chase announced on January 7, 2026 that Chase would become the new issuer, with the transition expected to take approximately 24 months. Goldman Sachs said it would continue operating the program until the transition is complete. As of October 7, 2026, the change is announced and pending, not complete; the application page identifies Goldman Sachs Bank USA as issuer. Apple’s announcement and Goldman Sachs’ statement describe the planned change.

Who can apply, and what happens to your credit score?
Apple Card is for qualifying applicants in the United States and is subject to credit approval. Apple says Goldman Sachs evaluates credit and ability to pay, including credit-report factors, debt load, income, and recent credit applications. Apple gives a FICO Score 9 below 600 as an example that might prevent approval; it is not a universal cutoff or a guarantee of rejection.
Apple says an application may be viewed without affecting your score before you accept an offer. Accepting an approved offer results in a hard inquiry that may affect your score. See Apple’s application and credit-score guidance for current details.
How to decide whether Apple Card fits
Evaluate the card against your own payment habits and device use rather than assuming its rewards or fee structure make it the right choice.
- Balance behavior: If you may carry a balance, focus on the APR you are actually offered and the interest you could incur.
- Spending pattern: Check whether your purchases qualify for 3%, 2%, or 1% Daily Cash based on merchant and payment method.
- Fees: Compare annual, foreign transaction, and late-fee terms while remembering that interest is separate from fees.
- Savings: Consider the current variable APY and whether the eligibility, transfer process, and balance limits suit you.
- Apple purchases: ACMI may matter if you are eligible and want installments for a qualifying Apple product; it does not cover general spending.
- Device and ecosystem: Apple Card features are closely tied to Apple Wallet and supported devices, so consider whether that setup works for you.
The available terms establish Apple Card’s features, but do not establish how it ranks against other cards. Compare current offers and terms directly before choosing.
