No. Amazon’s $150 free-delivery threshold was a 2023 policy change, not a new upcoming requirement. As of Amazon’s current U.S. help information, Prime members pay no service fee for Amazon Fresh two-hour delivery on orders over $100. Amazon’s separate same-day grocery service has a different threshold: free delivery for Prime orders over $25 in most areas.
Where did the $150 minimum come from?
In January 2023, The Associated Press reported that Amazon would end free Amazon Fresh delivery for Prime members on orders under $150, effective February 28, 2023. At the time, the reported fees were $3.95 for orders from $100 to $150, $6.95 for orders from $50 to $100, and $9.95 for orders under $50. The AP said the previous free-delivery minimum was generally $35, or $50 in New York. Those figures describe the 2023 change, not the current fee schedule.

What are Amazon Fresh’s current two-hour delivery fees?
Amazon’s U.S. customer-service page lists these fees for standard two-hour Amazon Fresh delivery. The Prime prices below apply to the basket-size bands Amazon specifies; an order must be over $100 to avoid the service fee.

Amazon says rush and one-hour orders can cost extra. Some areas also offer lower fees for delivery windows of up to six hours. How is same-day grocery delivery different?
Amazon describes same-day fresh grocery delivery as a separate service from Amazon Fresh two-hour delivery, with its own terms. In most areas, Prime members get free same-day delivery on orders over $25. Prime members can choose same-day delivery for $2.99 when the order is below that minimum. Non-Prime customers pay $12.99 regardless of order size. Availability depends on location, so these terms do not replace the Amazon Fresh two-hour fee schedule.

The answer depends on the service offered for your address, the order total, Prime status, and the available delivery window. These thresholds apply to different services, so compare the option names and fees in your cart rather than treating them as one shared minimum.
