Yes. Active Amazon Prime members in the U.S. can get a Grubhub+ membership at no additional membership charge by linking their Amazon and Grubhub accounts. The benefit can waive delivery fees on eligible orders that meet the order’s stated minimum, but it does not make every order free of fees.
What Prime’s Grubhub+ benefit includes
Amazon announced the ongoing Prime-linked Grubhub+ offer on May 29, 2024. Grubhub’s current offer page describes it as available to active, authenticated U.S. Prime members who link their accounts. The linked membership remains in effect while the customer remains a Prime member. Amazon’s announcement and Grubhub’s offer terms describe the benefit.

Grubhub+ can provide $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on eligible orders from eligible Grubhub+ merchants, when the order meets the qualifying subtotal shown for that order. The minimum is calculated before tax, tip, and fees. Other fees may still apply, so check the final checkout breakdown before placing an order.
How to activate Grubhub+ with Prime
- Sign in to your active Amazon Prime account and your Grubhub account.
- Open Grubhub’s Prime offer page and follow its account-linking instructions to connect the accounts.
- Review the offer and confirm the link. Grubhub says an existing paid Grubhub+ membership is canceled when you sign up for the Prime-linked offer; the Prime-linked membership begins on the first calendar day after the existing billing cycle ends.
- When ordering, check that the merchant is eligible and that your subtotal meets the minimum displayed for that menu or order.
Grubhub says merchant and delivery availability may differ among Grubhub.com, the Grubhub app, and the Grubhub digital store on Amazon.

Why fees may still appear on an order
- The restaurant or order is not eligible: The fee waiver applies only to eligible delivery orders from eligible Grubhub+ merchants.
- The subtotal is below the displayed minimum: Check the qualifying threshold for the particular menu or order; it is measured before tax, tip, and fees.
- You are seeing a fee the benefit does not cover: Grubhub warns that additional fees may apply. Review the itemized checkout total rather than assuming $0 delivery means $0 total fees.
- Availability differs by ordering channel: A merchant or delivery option may not be available in the same way on Grubhub.com, in the Grubhub app, and in Amazon’s digital store.
Pickup orders and the 5% credit
Eligible pickup orders earn Grubhub+ Credit equal to 5% of the qualifying order subtotal. The credit is for future eligible Grubhub orders; it is not transferable or redeemable for cash and expires 90 days after the most recent credit is issued. Grubhub lists additional restrictions: the credit cannot be accrued or redeemed for on-campus dining orders, and limits apply to alcohol-containing purchases. What happens if you cancel Prime?
If Amazon Prime is canceled or terminated, Grubhub says the linked Grubhub+ membership and its benefits end. The Prime-linked membership does not automatically convert into a paid Grubhub+ membership.

How much could the benefit save?
The published savings estimates are company-reported and use different assumptions; they are not guaranteed savings for an individual member.
- In its May 29, 2024 announcement, Amazon valued Grubhub+ at $120 per year and reported average savings of $300 per year for Prime members who placed at least one Grubhub+ order per month, counting delivery fees and promotions.
- Grubhub’s current offer page reports an average estimate of $336 a year for Grubhub+ members through Amazon Prime nationwide who place at least one Grubhub+ order per month for 12 months. Its footnote counts delivery fees, lower service fees, and redeemed credit; individual savings, fees, and available offers vary.
Because the estimates come from different company pages and count different benefits, neither figure predicts what a particular household will save. Your result depends on eligible orders, local merchant availability, and the fees and offers shown at checkout.
