What to know about the DEEPBLUE account
Google Play’s DEEPBLUE Debit listing identifies Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC, as the account provider and Netspend as a service provider. The listing says opening an account requires registration and identity verification, with online access needed to complete registration. Verification may request your name, address, date of birth, and a government ID number; it may also request a driver’s license or other identifying information. These are registration details in the listing, not confirmed fields on the card-activation page.
The listing describes app features for checking balances and transaction history and sending money. It also says the DEEPBLUE account card can be used wherever Debit Mastercard is accepted. These details come from the Google Play DEEPBLUE Debit listing, updated October 30, 2024.

Support and optional overdraft service
The Google Play listing gives [email protected] as the app-support email. It lists 1-833-954-1605 for additional overdraft-service terms; it does not describe that number as a dedicated activation line. The support channels have not been independently tested.
If considering the optional overdraft service, read the current account terms before enrolling. The listing says eligible enrolled users may be charged $20 per covered transaction that overdraws the account by more than $10, up to five fees in a calendar month. It describes a 24-hour window to bring the balance to zero or positive to avoid a fee, subject to its terms. Coverage is discretionary, and negative balances must be repaid within 30 days. The listing says eligible customers may opt out, but opting out does not remove repayment obligations. It also cautions: “This service is expensive, so we encourage you to research alternatives before enrolling.”

Direct-deposit timing claim
The October 30, 2024 Google Play listing advertises access to direct deposits “up to 2 days earlier.” It presents this as a vendor claim based on comparing Netspend’s ACH processing policy with posting funds at settlement; it is not a guaranteed arrival time for an individual deposit.
