No—the Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2026 registration deadline is not today. Applications closed at 11 p.m. on 31 July 2025, so this intake is no longer open. The Indian Air Force notice named agnipathvayu.cdac.in as the application portal, but that link is the portal cited in the historical notice, not confirmation that you can still apply for Intake 02/2026.
Intake 02/2026 dates and application portal
The Indian Air Force set online registration to run from 11 a.m. on 11 July 2025 until 11 p.m. on 31 July 2025. The notice said only online applications would be accepted and that no extension would be accommodated. These dates are corroborated by government notices from Nagaland, Dhalai district and Khowai district.
The notice identified agnipathvayu.cdac.in for registration and detailed instructions. It does not establish whether the site currently displays archived information or an application for another intake. Do not treat the old link as proof that Intake 02/2026 is accepting applications, or assume another cycle is open without checking its own official notice.
What the 02/2026 notice said about the exam
The online examination was scheduled to begin on 25 September 2025. That was the timetable for this intake, not a current or upcoming exam date. The full Intake 02/2026 notification contains the selection stages and the detailed instructions that applied to its candidates.

Eligibility and service terms were specific to this intake
The 2025 notice invited unmarried Indian male and female candidates born from 2 July 2005 through 2 January 2009, inclusive. It described different education routes for Science and Other than Science subjects, with minimum marks, and also listed specified diploma and vocational qualifications. Recognized-board rules, domicile documentation and medical standards are among the details that require consulting the full notification; a short summary cannot determine an individual candidate’s eligibility.
The notice described an online selection test followed by further stages, including Phase II, Adaptability Test II and a medical examination. Agniveervayu recruitment under this notice was not recruitment as a commissioned officer, pilot, navigator or regular airman.

For candidates selected under the 02/2026 notice, the stated engagement was four years. Its monthly package was ₹30,000 in year one, ₹33,000 in year two, ₹36,500 in year three and ₹40,000 in year four. The notice estimated an exit Seva Nidhi of approximately ₹10.04 lakh excluding interest, described matching government and candidate corpus contributions, and stated a ₹48 lakh non-contributory life-insurance cover during engagement. It also said there would be no gratuity or pensionary benefits. These are terms published for Intake 02/2026 and should not be assumed to apply to a later intake.

The Indian Air Force notification says selection is fair, transparent and merit-based, and that no bribe is required at any stage of selection or recruitment. Rely on official notices and do not pay anyone claiming they can secure a place.
