The clearest documented property story in Conor McGregor’s real-estate portfolio is The Paddocks, a home near Straffan in County Kildare. Reports say he bought it in 2019 and later bought an adjacent property, but the planning record tells a more precise story than headlines about a new mansion: an earlier permission covered alterations and an extension, a much larger replacement-home proposal was refused in 2025, and a separate application was invalidated in 2026.

What is known about McGregor’s Irish properties?

RTÉ reported in May 2026 that McGregor paid €3 million for The Paddocks in 2019. It also reported that he bought the adjacent No. 5 Castledillon for €1.65 million in June 2022. These are reported historical purchase prices, not current valuations. RTÉ’s May 2026 account covers The Paddocks and its planning status; the adjacent-property price was reported in RTÉ’s July 2025 coverage.

The available reporting does not establish a complete, current inventory of homes McGregor owns. It also does not support a reliable total value for his personal residential property holdings.

What was proposed for The Paddocks—and what was refused?

A 2022 planning permission covered alterations, demolition works and an extension to The Paddocks. RTÉ reported in May 2026 that the architect said the permission was in the process of being implemented. That permission should not be confused with a later proposal to demolish the existing home and replace it with a substantially larger building.

On 3 July 2025, An Coimisiún Pleanála refused the replacement-house proposal. RTÉ reported that it involved a 2,290-square-metre, six-bedroom house and a 746.6-square-metre basement. Those figures describe the proposed replacement development, not the existing home or the earlier permitted extension. RTÉ’s report on the refusal gives the proposal’s dimensions and planning context.

The commission’s grounds, as reported by RTÉ, included the proposed building’s effect on the sensitive landscape and rural amenities, as well as its scale and character in that rural setting. It also found that the applicant had not adequately justified demolishing a substantial existing house rather than sensitively adapting or extending it. The refusal was a planning decision on the replacement proposal—not evidence that a new mansion was built.

What does the 2026 invalidation mean?

In April 2026, a separate application sought to allow completion of works after the existing permission’s expiry. Kildare County Council invalidated it, rather than deciding the merits of a valid application. According to the council’s decision letter, quoted by RTÉ, “the drawings submitted are misleading and incorrect, and information has been omitted.”

RTÉ reported that the existing permission was due to expire in early 2027 and that the architect said it was being implemented. Its May 2026 report does not establish a later valid application or confirm that the permitted works have been completed. The invalidation therefore should not be described as a refusal of the earlier permission or as approval of the larger 2025 replacement plan. RTÉ’s May 2026 report details the council’s action.

That report gives the existing house as 7,964 square feet and the permitted extension as 13,131 square feet. These are reported measurements of the existing home and permitted development; neither is the 2025 replacement proposal’s area.

Do reports of homes in Spain and Las Vegas confirm current ownership?

No. They are older lifestyle accounts, not current proof of title. A 2017 Realtor.com feature described “Ville de Soleil,” a 12,000-square-foot property in the Las Vegas area that McGregor rented while preparing for UFC 189 in 2015. The account identifies it as a rental, not a home he owned. Realtor.com’s 2017 feature is historical context only.

A 2020 feature by realestate.com.au discussed homes in Ireland and Spain as well as a Las Vegas residence. It does not establish that McGregor still owns each property today. The 2020 feature should be read as lifestyle reporting from that period, not as a verified current portfolio list.

Are business property figures part of his personal home portfolio?

They should be kept separate. RTÉ reported that Emrajare Ltd’s accounts showed €21.46 million in investment-property book value at the end of 2022. That is a company accounting figure for a particular date, not a current market valuation of the company’s assets or a valuation of McGregor’s personal homes. RTÉ also reported that An Bord Pleanála rejected a mixed-use proposal involving demolition of the Marble Arch pub and a 113-unit apartment project. RTÉ’s May 2024 coverage discusses the proposal and company accounts.

Best Value

Separate local reporting has described McGregor as owning pubs and reported on an eight-house Santry project sold to Tuath in 2020. That coverage does not provide a verified, comprehensive or current residential ownership list, so those claims should not be combined with the documented purchase reports to calculate a personal property total.

Why a total portfolio value cannot be stated reliably

The reported €3 million and €1.65 million figures are past transaction prices for two properties, while the €21.46 million figure is a company’s reported book value for investment properties at the end of 2022. They refer to different assets, dates and valuation bases. None establishes the current market value of McGregor’s personal real estate, and the available accounts do not supply a complete current list of his personally owned homes.
