Those figures are secondary-source estimates—not audited disclosures or an official NASCAR ranking—so the list is best read as a comparison of published estimates, not a definitive measure of who is richest.
Who is the richest NASCAR driver in this ranking?
Flow Racers names Dale Earnhardt Jr. as the richest driver in its list, estimating his net worth at $300 million. The page attributes his wealth to driving contracts, sponsorships, endorsements, other ventures and popularity, but does not provide transparent calculations that substantiate the figure or value those components individually.
The estimate should not be confused with income in a particular year. ESPN reported Forbes’ estimate that Earnhardt Jr. earned $25.9 million in 2013. That was an annual-earnings estimate for that year, not a net-worth figure and not a current estimate of his wealth.

- Hendrick Motorsports Amazon Exclusive Candy Finish 1/64 Diecast. Featuring a special, high metallic "candy" finish. Diecast chassis and rolling rubber tires.
| Rank in Flow Racers’ list | Driver | Published net-worth estimate |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dale Earnhardt Jr. | $300 million |
| 2 | Jeff Gordon | $150–200 million |
| 3 | Jimmie Johnson | $120 million |
| 4 | Tony Stewart | $100 million |
| 5 | Kevin Harvick | $90 million |
| 6 | Kyle Busch | $80 million |
| 7 | Denny Hamlin | $80 million |
| 8 | Ken Schrader | $75 million |
| 9 | Mark Martin | $70 million |
| 10 | Dale Earnhardt Sr. | $70 million |
The estimates do not support a precise comparison among drivers near one another on the list. Gordon’s figure is given as a $50 million range, while Busch and Hamlin receive the same estimate. Rankings from other publishers may use different assumptions, and no audited net-worth disclosure for these ten drivers establishes a definitive order.
What these figures do—and do not—measure
Net worth is not interchangeable with annual earnings, career race winnings, endorsement income, business revenue or the value of an ownership stake. A driver can earn substantial income in one year without that amount representing accumulated wealth; similarly, business activity or merchandise sales cannot be treated as personal net worth without knowing ownership, costs, liabilities and other assets.

Petty’s absence from Flow Racers’ ten-driver wealth list should therefore not be read as a judgment about his standing in the sport. A championship or win total is a sporting record, not a financial statement.
Gordon, a four-time Cup Series champion, described Busch as “a fierce competitor who demanded the very best from himself each time he put on the helmet,” according to the Associated Press’ May 22, 2026 coverage of Busch. The remark speaks to Busch’s approach and impact as a competitor, not his finances.
