Apollo Tyres and Mahindra Lifespace Developers also had company-specific announcements. “In focus” identifies news that may draw investor attention; it is not a prediction of share-price direction or a recommendation to buy or sell.
Why these stocks are in focus on October 7
Moneycontrol’s October 7 roundup reported Titan’s business update, quarterly results from Arcil, Kanohar Electricals, Glass Wall Systems and Karamtara Engineering, Apollo Tyres’ CFO resignation, and a new Pune project from Mahindra Lifespace Developers. Angel One’s same-day roundup also summarized several of the reported results. The figures below are secondary-source reports; the available reports do not establish that they have been checked against company or exchange filings.
Quarterly results: revenue and profit growth differ by company
The reported figures are year-on-year comparisons for the quarter identified in the roundups as Q1. They are consolidated figures where the reports specify a consolidated basis.
| Company | Reported Q1 profit | Year-on-year profit change | Reported Q1 revenue | Year-on-year revenue change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arcil (Asset Reconstruction Company India) | ₹59.1 crore, consolidated | Up 14.6% from ₹51.5 crore | ₹234.7 crore, consolidated | Up 115.4% from ₹109 crore |
| Kanohar Electricals | ₹27.3 crore | Up 140% from ₹11.4 crore | ₹137.1 crore | Up 103.5% from ₹67.4 crore, as reported by Moneycontrol |
| Glass Wall Systems | ₹17.3 crore, consolidated | Down 7.7% | ₹107.4 crore, consolidated | Up about 35.8% |
| Karamtara Engineering | ₹87.4 crore, consolidated | Up 45.3% | ₹1,580.9 crore, consolidated | Up 72.3% |
Moneycontrol and Angel One reported matching rounded figures for these companies’ profit and revenue, with Moneycontrol specifying Kanohar’s 103.5% revenue increase. The contrast matters: Glass Wall Systems’ reported revenue rose while profit declined, whereas Karamtara’s profit and revenue both rose. These headline figures alone do not explain the drivers, cash generation, balance-sheet position or sustainability of growth.
#1 Best Overall
Titan: strong reported growth, but a negative share reaction
Moneycontrol reported Titan domestic business growth of 22% and international business growth of 97%, with consumer-business growth of 25%. Within the businesses it detailed, watches grew 30%, eye care 28%, emerging businesses 21% and jewellery 21%. Titan added 77 domestic stores and one international store, taking its reported total to 3,758 as of September 2026.
Those operating-growth figures did not translate into a positive same-day share reaction in the separate Moneycontrol stock-page report: it said Titan shares fell more than 4% on October 7 after jewellery growth missed some estimates, while brokerages retained bullish calls. The report reflects that session and should not be treated as a continuing price update or as proof of what caused every investor’s decision. Growth rates and market expectations measure different things; a company can expand while investors respond negatively if results disappoint relative to expectations.

How to use this watchlist
- Check the company or exchange disclosure for the quarter, reporting basis, figures and any subsequent correction before relying on a secondary summary.
- For earnings, compare profit with revenue rather than treating one growth rate as a complete picture; the reports do not supply consistent cash-flow, debt, valuation or peer data.
- For Titan, keep the reported operating update separate from the session’s share-price move and the reported brokerage opinions.
- For the CFO resignation and project launch, verify the company announcement and assess the details relevant to your own investment decision.
