512GB Wi-Fi
Apple Certified Refurbished pricing was $1,339. The strongest listed retailer deal was $1,403 for Space Black. This is the sensible middle ground for most professional, student, and creative buyers because it provides substantially more working room without the price jump to 1TB.
1TB and 2TB Wi-Fi
Apple Certified Refurbished prices were $1,679 for 1TB standard glass, $1,759 for 1TB Nano-texture glass, $2,109 for 2TB standard glass, and $2,189 for 2TB Nano-texture glass. The tracker showed retailer listings at $1,700 for 1TB and $2,089 for 2TB.
These capacities are mainly for professional media workflows, large local libraries, extensive project files, or buyers who specifically need Nano-texture glass. They are not automatic bargains merely because the discount percentage looks large.
Wi-Fi + Cellular
The tracker showed $1,449 for 256GB cellular and $1,599 for 512GB cellular. Apple Certified Refurbished pricing was $1,339 for 256GB, $1,509 for 512GB, and $1,849 for 1TB. Cellular is worthwhile for people who regularly work away from dependable Wi-Fi and want built-in mobile data. It is usually poor value if you can use home, office, school, or phone-hotspot connectivity.
A cellular iPad does not include a free data plan. You need a compatible carrier plan or eSIM arrangement, and the recurring cost should be included in your comparison. “Unlocked” also does not guarantee compatibility with every carrier.

Nano-texture glass
Nano-texture glass is available only on 1TB and 2TB configurations. Apple Certified Refurbished prices ranged from $1,759 for 1TB Wi-Fi to $2,369 for 2TB Wi-Fi + Cellular. It can help reduce reflections in bright studios and offices, but it is not a performance upgrade. It also requires more careful cleaning and should not be purchased solely because it sounds more premium.

Which configuration should you buy?
- General user: 256GB Wi-Fi is enough for web, email, streaming, documents, and notes. The $1,169 Apple refurbished model is the low-cost choice.
- Student: Choose 256GB for cloud-based coursework; choose 512GB if you download lectures, keep large files locally, or want to use the tablet for several years.
- Creative professional: 512GB Wi-Fi is the practical starting point. Consider 1TB if project files remain on the iPad or if the 16GB memory configuration matters to your workflow.
- Video editor or photographer: 1TB or 2TB can make sense for local media, but compare the price with external storage and your computer-based workflow.
- Frequent traveler: Cellular is useful when dependable Wi-Fi is unavailable; otherwise, a Wi-Fi model plus phone hotspot usually costs less.
- Bright-studio user: Consider Nano-texture only if reflections materially interfere with your work. It is restricted to 1TB and 2TB models.
- Long-term owner: 512GB is the safer balance of price and capacity. Paying for 1TB solely for the specification upgrade is unnecessary for many buyers.
Why 1TB and 2TB are different beyond storage
According to Apple’s specifications, the 256GB and 512GB models have 8GB of memory and a 9-core CPU. The 1TB and 2TB versions have 16GB of memory and a 10-core CPU. All listed configurations use a 10-core GPU.
That difference may matter for demanding professional workloads, but it does not make every 1TB model a better deal. Buy the higher configuration for your actual storage and workload requirements, not simply for a specification-sheet advantage.
What the M4 iPad Pro includes—and what it does not
The 13-inch M4 iPad Pro includes a 20W USB-C power adapter and supports USB-C with Thunderbolt/USB 4. It does not include an Apple Pencil Pro or Magic Keyboard.

AppleInsider’s dated tracker snapshot showed the Apple Pencil Pro around $100 versus a $129 reference price, although that listing was marked sold out. The 13-inch Magic Keyboard was listed around $333–$334 versus a $349 reference price. Treat those as temporary reference points, not permanent prices.

Accessories can add roughly $400–$500, so a tablet that looks inexpensive in isolation may not be inexpensive as a laptop replacement.

How to avoid a bad iPad Pro deal
- Confirm the listing says iPad Pro 13-inch (M4), not an 11-inch model or another generation.
- Verify storage, Wi-Fi versus Wi-Fi + Cellular, standard versus Nano-texture glass, color, and exact model number.
- Check whether the item is new, Apple Certified Refurbished, retailer-refurbished, open-box, or marketplace-used.
- Identify the actual seller. A major retailer’s website can still host a third-party marketplace seller.
- Read the warranty, return period, battery-health policy, and included-accessory list.
- Make sure the price does not require a membership, coupon, trade-in, carrier activation, or financing condition you do not want.
- For used devices, confirm there is no Activation Lock and request purchase documentation where appropriate.
- For cellular models, confirm the device is not tied to an unpaid account or carrier restriction. Check compatibility with your carrier.
- At delivery, inspect the OLED display for damage or heavy scratches and verify the serial or model number against the advertised configuration.
For marketplace listings, “Wi-Fi + Cellular” can be confused with Wi-Fi-only hardware, and a listing marked “unlocked” may still not work on every network.

Should you buy now or wait?
Buy now if you need the 13-inch OLED display, can use one of the listed configurations, and find a reputable seller with a clear return policy. The $1,169 Apple Certified Refurbished price is particularly attractive for a 256GB Wi-Fi buyer, while $1,339 for 512GB is the stronger long-term value threshold.
For new hardware, the $1,403 512GB Wi-Fi listing is reasonable rather than an extraordinary bargain. It becomes less appealing if the seller is unclear, the unit is renewed, or the deal depends on a condition you would not normally accept.
Wait or compare alternatives if you do not need the tandem OLED display, M4 performance, Thunderbolt, or the 13-inch form factor.
