No 2026 start date for the PlayStation Black Friday sale has been announced as of October 8, 2026. The last confirmed sale ran in 2025: in the US it began Friday, November 21, 2025 and was listed through Friday, December 5, 2025. Sony’s 2025 offers included PS5 and PS5 Pro console discounts, but those were last year’s terms and do not tell you what 2026 will look like.
When the 2025 sale started and ended
Sony announced the 2025 promotion on November 18, 2025 in a PlayStation.Blog post titled “PlayStation’s Black Friday Deals 2025.” The post said the offers would begin November 21 for a limited time. PlayStation’s US “Deals and events” page lists the same window, November 21 through December 5, 2025. Both sources are dated to 2025, and neither confirms a 2026 start date or any 2026 console discount.
Because the 2025 dates were published only a few days before the sale opened, a 2026 schedule would most likely appear on the same official channels once Sony confirms it. Until then, any date you see for 2026 that is not on a PlayStation page or a named retailer listing should be treated as speculation.
Where 2026 offers will appear
Sony’s 2025 announcement said offers were available through the PlayStation Store, direct.playstation.com, PlayStation Gear, and participating local retailers. Use those same channels to confirm the 2026 schedule when it is published. Retailer prices can differ from Sony’s recommended prices, so the official page is the reference point, not a third-party roundup.

PS5 and PS5 Pro deals in the 2025 sale
The table below lists the 2025 offers as Sony described them. These are historical details for the 2025 promotion. They are not current prices, and they do not guarantee similar savings in 2026.
| Offer (2025 announcement) | Stated value | Scope stated by Sony |
|---|---|---|
| PS5 Digital Edition 825GB with Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle | Recommended US retail price $399.99 | Bundle price, US recommended retail price, not a discount figure |
| PS5 1TB with Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle | Recommended US retail price $449.99 | Bundle price, US recommended retail price, not a discount figure |
| PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition consoles | $100 USD savings | Select regions only; the specific regions were not listed in the announcement summary |
| PS5 Pro console | $100 USD savings | Region not stated |
| Selected PS5 and PS4 digital games | Up to 75% off | PlayStation Store; the offer applied to selected titles |
PS5 consoles
Sony’s announcement said that in select regions customers could save $100 USD on PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition consoles. The Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundles were listed at the recommended US retail prices shown above. Because the savings applied only in select regions, a 2025 saving should not be assumed for your country.

PS5 Pro
Sony also said the PS5 Pro console would be discounted by $100 USD during the 2025 sale. The announcement did not say which regions this applied to, so do not assume the same reduction in your country without checking the local offer.
Digital games
The 2025 promotion included discounts of up to 75% on selected PS5 and PS4 digital games on the PlayStation Store. “Up to” means the maximum discount applied to some titles, not a uniform discount across the catalogue.

How to verify a 2026 deal before you buy
- Confirm the start and end dates on the official PlayStation page for your region before you act on any date.
- Check the product detail page or retailer listing for the exact model and edition, such as PS5, PS5 Digital Edition, or PS5 Pro, because offers can differ by model.
- Compare the sale price with the current local recommended price, not with a 2025 figure or a price shown in an old article.
- Note what is included, such as bundled games or extra content, since bundle prices and standalone console prices are not interchangeable.
- Check stock and availability at the retailer, and confirm whether the offer window differs from the main sale window.
Sony’s own caution from the 2025 announcement applies to every year: “Actual retailer prices and availability may vary. Products may have different sales periods. See specific offer details on product detail pages or retailer sites.” The Sony quote about the 2025 sale came from Isabelle Tomatis, Vice President, Global Marketing, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and is a corporate statement rather than independent commentary.
Once Sony publishes a 2026 PlayStation Black Friday announcement, compare its dates and console offers directly against the 2025 figures above, which will show whether the terms have changed.
