VIT announced the VITEEE 2022 result on July 8, 2022. Candidates were directed to viteee.vit.ac.in to open the result link, sign in, view their result and download it. This is a historical result notice; the current VITEEE site covers a later admissions cycle, and continued access to individual 2022 scorecards has not been verified.
When was the VITEEE 2022 result declared?
VIT announced the result on July 8, 2022, two days after the computer-based examination period ended. The exam ran from June 30 through July 6, 2022.
How candidates could check the VITEEE 2022 result
- Go to the official VITEEE website: viteee.vit.ac.in.
- Select the VITEEE 2022 result link.
- Enter the login details requested on the page.
- View the result, check the information shown, and download and save a copy for reference.
Contemporaneous result instructions also suggested printing a copy, but the available reporting does not establish that printing was mandatory. The exact scorecard fields and whether the historical login page still works are not confirmed, so candidates should not assume they can retrieve a 2022 scorecard now.
What happened after the result?
For the 2022 admission cycle, rank was used for selection, and selected candidates were to take part in online counselling. A report published on July 8 said counselling was scheduled to begin that day. VITEEE scores were used for B.Tech admissions at VIT’s Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal campuses, with candidates taking the examination in MPCEA or BPCEA groups.

Later-cycle counselling information should not be treated as a definitive guide to the 2022 process. For example, VIT’s counselling portal describes a 2025–26 process in which candidates sign in, check rank, submit campus, programme and fee-category preferences, and receive allotment based on rank and preference. That page documents a later cycle, not the precise instructions candidates received in 2022.

The current VITEEE landing page displays a later admissions cycle, so its dates and rules do not apply retroactively to 2022. VIT also warns about fraudulent calls, emails, SMS, WhatsApp and social media messages claiming direct admission. Use VIT’s official admissions websites and do not share login credentials in response to unsolicited messages.
