UPSC released the CDS II and NDA/NA II 2024 e-admit cards on 23 August 2024, ahead of examinations scheduled for 1 September 2024. Those dates have passed, so the 2024 download is historical rather than a current application or download link. For current-cycle updates, use the official UPSC website.
When were the CDS II and NDA/NA II 2024 admit cards released?
Contemporary reports from Careers360 and The Indian Express said UPSC released both admit cards on 23 August 2024. The two examinations were scheduled for 1 September 2024; neither is upcoming now.
The NDA/NA II 2024 examination notice said eligible candidates would receive an e-Admit Card through UPSC’s online site on the last working day of the preceding week. That timing statement applies to the 2024 cycle, not necessarily to later exams. The notice appeared in UPSC’s official materials; the cited PDF link redirected to the UPSC homepage when accessed. Can you still download the 2024 admit card?
The reports and instructions describe the 2024 release, not an active download endpoint. The Indian Express’s archived instructions said candidates could retrieve the card using either their registration ID or roll number through the UPSC e-Admit Card link. That was the reported process at the time; it does not establish that the old link or the same menu is available now.

The UPSC CDS II notice, dated 23 August 2024, said candidates had to download and print the e-Admit Card; no paper admit card would be issued. It required the printed card and the photo ID whose number appeared on the card at the allotted venue for each session. The notice is available as a third-party-hosted copy of the UPSC document: CDS II 2024 candidate instructions.
- Missing or unclear photograph: The notice instructed candidates to bring three identical photographs, one for each session, along with an undertaking.
- Discrepancy on the card: Candidates were told to contact [email protected] immediately.
- Venue and entry: Candidates could not sit at a venue other than the one printed on their own card. Entry closed 30 minutes before each session.
- Items and stationery: The notice barred mobile phones, smart or digital watches, other IT gadgets, books, and bags from the premises, and directed candidates to bring a black ballpoint pen.
These detailed instructions are from the CDS II 2024 notice. Do not assume every item or procedure applies word-for-word to NDA/NA II or to a later cycle; follow the instructions printed on the relevant current admit card.
