The available evidence supports a retrospective account of XRP’s reported market movement, but not exact monthly LCAI forecasts or realized prices. XRP’s quarterly figures provide context—not proof that any particular prediction came true.
What the available record can—and cannot—show
The title’s forecast window is historical. To evaluate a prediction, a reader needs a dated forecast published before the period it covers, a defined price target and horizon, and a comparable observed price with its source, timestamp, currency, and venue. The available sources do not establish that kind of complete record for both assets across all three months. In particular, they do not verify exact monthly LCAI targets or outcomes.
That means XRP market data should not be presented as an LCAI forecast, and a project description should not be treated as evidence of token performance. Any precise monthly price target or claim that a prediction was accurate would go beyond the established record.
What Ripple reported about XRP
Q4 2024: a higher quarterly average and a volatile rally
Ripple’s Q4 2024 XRP Markets Report lists an average XRP closing price of $1.43 for the quarter, compared with $0.55 in Q3 2024. Those are Ripple-published quarterly averages, not a December closing price or a forecast. Ripple also described XRP reaching a year high of around $2.80 and characterized the period after the U.S. election as a sharp rise accompanied by volatility.

Ripple’s report attributed the market’s momentum to developments including regulatory sentiment and broader market activity. That is the company’s interpretation of the period, not proof that any single event caused the price move. The report characterized the quarter as follows: “The final quarter of 2024 marked a turning point for the crypto market, sparking optimism for a new era of growth for the industry, specifically in the U.S.”
Trading activity reported in Q4
The same report put average daily XRP spot trading volume at approximately $5 billion from mid-November through December. It also reported nearly $25 billion in XRP spot volume on December 2 across CCData’s Top Tier exchanges. These figures describe different scopes: one is an average over a stated period, while the other is a single-day figure across the named exchange category. They do not establish a price target or predict what happened in February.

Q1 2025: a quarter-wide figure, not a February price
Ripple’s Q1 2025 XRP Markets Report lists an average XRP closing price of $2.70 for the quarter. Q1 covers January through March, so this figure cannot be used as February’s closing price or as the exact endpoint of a December-to-February forecast. Ripple’s account of Q1 market developments is likewise quarterly context, rather than a February-only observation.
What Lightchain AI’s project description establishes
Lightchain AI’s official website describes an ecosystem combining AI, blockchain, developer tools, and community governance. It presents AIVM as a planned execution layer and Proof of Intelligence as a protocol concept. These are the project’s descriptions of its design and plans; on their own, they do not demonstrate deployed or independently tested performance, nor do they verify historical LCAI prices.

How to assess any specific forecast for this period
If you encounter a dated XRP or LCAI forecast for these months, check whether it can actually be evaluated rather than relying on a headline target alone:
- Publication date: Was it published before the month or period being forecast?
- Target and horizon: Does it name a price, currency, and date or time window?
- Method and assumptions: Does the source explain its model, assumptions, and catalysts, or is the target simply an opinion?
- Source identity: Is the claim attributable to a named analyst, project, or formal model?
- Outcome measure: Does the comparison use a dated observed price and identify the data source, timestamp, currency, and venue?
Without those details, a prediction cannot be compared fairly with an outcome. Quarterly XRP averages may help describe the broader period, but they do not validate an exact monthly target. For LCAI, the available record does not supply a verified series of monthly predictions and realized prices to score.
