Its materials describe integration as free to start, but they do not establish that every operator can launch a complete exchange in three days or at zero total cost. Choosing an integration is only one part of launching: transaction charges, site operations, and jurisdiction-specific legal obligations still matter.
What does “launch in 3 days for free” actually mean?
ChangeNOW supplies technology for swap functionality; you choose how to present it and configure the customer experience. The three-day timeline is not a verified, universal end-to-end launch time. A third-party search result repeats a claim of a launch in under three days, while ChangeNOW’s exchange-platform page describes API integration in under one week. Neither is an independent study of how long it takes to launch a compliant, public-facing business. ChangeNOW’s exchange-platform page describes the vendor’s integration offer, not a guarantee for every project.
Likewise, “free to start” refers to integration, not necessarily the full cost of operating an exchange. ChangeNOW’s business pages describe several integration options and a partner revenue-sharing model; the practical choice depends on how much coding and control you need. Which ChangeNOW integration should you choose?

How to set up the service
The exact steps vary by product. At a high level, the setup follows this sequence:
- Get partner access and credentials. Choose the relevant ChangeNOW product and follow its partner onboarding process to obtain the required access or API credentials.
- Choose the customer flow. Decide whether to build a custom API experience, embed the widget, configure a white-label service, or use the WordPress route.
- Configure and review the integration. Check the supported assets, fees, branding, and how users move through a swap. For API integrations, follow the current technical documentation rather than relying on old examples.
- Test before promoting it. ChangeNOW’s Help Center says there is no dedicated test environment and describes testing the standard flow with a low-fee pair. - Confirm operational readiness. Make sure the site, support process, customer disclosures, and compliance review are in place before inviting users.
The same Help Center article publishes a limit of 1,800 requests per minute (30 per second) for requests under the same API key. That technical limit is dated October 25, 2025; verify it in current documentation before designing around it.

What does “free” cover—and what can cost money?
ChangeNOW says partners can start integration for free. That does not mean swaps or running a public-facing site have no costs. The Help Center says the commission structure includes ChangeNOW’s commission, the partner’s commission, and network deposit and withdrawal fees. - Integration: The vendor describes getting started with integration as free; confirm current partner terms for your chosen product.
- Transactions: Swap-related commissions and network fees apply as described in the Help Center.
- Website: The WordPress route requires a domain and hosting, which are separate operating expenses.
- Build and operations: Custom development, maintenance, customer support, and compliance work take resources even if the integration itself has no separate charge.
How does partner revenue work?
ChangeNOW’s Help Center states that the default partner commission is 0.4% and that partners can adjust it. The API product page describes the option to “Start from 0.4% or higher and customize your commission for specific assets/pairs, if you wish.” These are vendor terms, not a promise of earnings: revenue depends on completed transaction volume, the applicable commission settings, and transaction fees. Can you add fiat buying or selling?
ChangeNOW says buy/sell functionality is available upon request. It is not presented as automatically included with every integration. Setup depends on the integration model, region, payment methods, and compliance requirements, so ask the provider what is available for your specific market before designing the product around fiat access.
