The Reject Shop announced that its Northam Village Square store was scheduled to open on 18 April 2024, with “dozens” of local jobs across full-time, part-time and casual work. That announcement is historical, not a current vacancy notice: the report did not give an exact job count, list specific positions or confirm whether any roles remain available.

What did the jobs announcement say?
The report said the store would provide “dozens” of local jobs, spanning full-time, part-time and casual work. It did not specify how many positions that meant or name individual job titles, pay, an application deadline or an application link.
Regional manager Lauri Merigan described the hiring as a source of local employment and said team members would help shoppers with household budgeting. Her statement expresses the retailer’s aims; it is not independent evidence that shopping at the store lowers a household’s total spending.
