How this ranking works
“Celebrity” can mean different things. Forbes Brasil described its 2026 celebrity list as focusing on people who became famous first and then extremely wealthy. Using that fame-first approach, this ranking compares prominent couples only where the cited coverage supplies figures that can be put side by side. The totals add reported individual net-worth estimates; they do not establish how wealth or assets are owned between partners.
The ranked entries below use the figures in Fortune’s August 27, 2025 comparison, so the two couples can be compared on the same reporting date. Other estimates published later are noted separately rather than blended into that dated comparison.

The Beckham estimate is not ranked alongside these totals because the cited figure is reported in a different currency and comes from a separate estimate basis. Fortune gives David and Victoria Beckham’s combined wealth as £500 million, or about $672 million using the article’s conversion, based on the 2025 Sunday Times Rich List. It is useful context, but not a directly comparable row in Fortune’s two-couple dollar comparison.

Why the numbers can change
Valuation dates matter
Estimates are snapshots, and publications can update them as they reassess assets, businesses, debts or other inputs. Forbes Brasil’s March 2026 celebrity-billionaire list estimates Beyoncé’s individual net worth at $1 billion, higher than the $780 million estimate used in Fortune’s August 2025 couple comparison. That later figure is not a new verified total for Beyoncé and Jay-Z because the cited sources do not provide a matching Jay-Z estimate on the same basis and date.
Sources can disagree
Investormint’s 2026 couples article gives the Carters a combined estimate in the $3.5 billion-to-$3.8 billion range and cites Jay-Z at $2.8 billion. That differs from the Forbes-attributed numbers in Fortune’s 2025 comparison. The discrepancy illustrates why a couple ranking should identify its source and cutoff rather than present a single figure as settled fact.

Net worth is not revenue or earnings
A net-worth estimate is not the same as annual income, gross tour revenue, or a brand’s valuation. For example, the roughly $80 million figure reported for Kelce’s off-field earnings is not the same measure as his $70 million net-worth estimate. The available reporting describes Swift’s wealth as largely tied to touring and music, but gross receipts should not be treated as personal wealth.
