No general U.S. offer matching both claims is confirmed on Tesla’s public pages reviewed on October 8, 2026. Tesla says its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) transfer program ended March 31, 2026, and its public Current Offers page does not list $2,000 off a Model Y for legacy owners. A separate trade-in benefit offers qualifying customers 2,000 miles of Supercharging—not $2,000 off the vehicle.
Can you still transfer FSD to a new Tesla?
Not through Tesla’s former general U.S. transfer program. Tesla Support states that the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Transfer Program ended on March 31, 2026, and answers “No” to whether FSD can be transferred to another account or vehicle.
That does not establish whether a particular used Tesla includes FSD. Tesla says the previous owner’s purchase or subscription status can affect whether the feature is included with a used vehicle. Check the vehicle listing and order details rather than assuming an FSD entitlement will move with you.
Is Tesla offering $2,000 off a Model Y for legacy owners?
Tesla’s public U.S. Current Offers page, checked October 8, 2026, does not list a $2,000 Model Y discount for legacy owners. That describes the public page only; it does not rule out regional promotions or terms shown to a particular customer in an account or order.

The page lists other offers, including a $99-per-month FSD (Supervised) subscription with a free 30-day trial, 2,000 free Supercharging miles for a qualifying gas-car trade-in, and $500 off for eligible military members, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, and students. These are distinct offers, and eligibility and availability can change.
What is the 2,000-mile trade-in benefit?
Tesla Support says that, starting October 30, 2025, trading in a gas or hybrid vehicle toward a new Tesla may qualify for 2,000 miles of free Supercharging. This is a charging benefit, not a $2,000 reduction in the Model Y’s purchase price.
