The Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (TN MRB) lists the Assistant Surgeon (General) 2024 Tamil Eligibility Test scorecard on its official results page. However, the candidate portal’s PDF download window closed on 5 February 2025, so the direct scorecard link is no longer a working download route. Use the MRB results page for any current official notices.

Official MRB results page and scorecard link

Open the TN MRB results page and find the Assistant Surgeon (General) 2024 entry. It lists “Final Score Card for Candidates those who qualified in Tamil Eligibility Test for the post of Assistant Surgeon (General)” and links to the candidate portal.

The historical candidate portal link is not a current download option: the form states that the login and PDF download period ran from 2 February through 5 February 2025 and is no longer available. Check MRB’s results page for any later notice rather than relying on that expired portal.

What this scorecard covers—and what it does not

This is the Tamil Eligibility Test scorecard for candidates who qualified in that test. It is not the subject-paper marks list or the provisional selection list. MRB lists the scorecard, Tamil Eligibility Test marks, subject and Tamil answer keys, and provisional selection list as separate documents on the results page.

In its 8 January 2025 notice, MRB said that “the result of Subject Paper will be evaluated and result will be published only for those candidates who had qualified in the Tamil Eligibility Test for the Post of Assistant Surgeon (General).” The scorecard’s label therefore should not be read as a complete account of subject-paper marks or as confirmation of appointment.

Recruitment and result timeline

  • Recruitment: Assistant Surgeon (General), Notification No. 01/MRB/2024.
  • Computer-based examination: Held on 5 January 2025, with a Tamil Eligibility Test and a subject paper.
  • Scorecard access: The portal’s login and PDF download window ended on 5 February 2025.
  • Provisional selection list: MRB’s separate list is dated 20 February 2025 and is explicitly provisional.

A contemporaneous Scroll report stated that the recruitment covered 2,553 vacancies and that registrations ran from 24 April to 15 July 2024. Treat those figures as reported by Scroll, not as details of the scorecard itself.

Finding the right result document

  • Tamil Eligibility Test scorecard: Candidate-specific scorecard link, whose download period has expired.
  • Tamil Eligibility Test marks list: A separate result document listed by MRB.
  • Answer keys: Separate subject and Tamil answer-key documents.
  • Provisional selection list: A distinct, provisional document dated 20 February 2025; it is not the scorecard.

MRB’s 8 January notice described an online objection tracker for answer-key objections and required supporting evidence from standard textbooks; it said guides and notes would not be entertained. That procedure concerns answer keys, not a scorecard appeal.
