The sale included PS5 consoles and bundles, accessories, games and PlayStation Plus—but it has ended. Sony’s advertised US prices and discounts were not universal: offers varied by region and retailer.
When the 2025 PlayStation Black Friday sale ran
Sony announced the promotion on November 18, 2025, and said offers would start November 21. It directed shoppers to the PlayStation Store, direct.playstation.com, PlayStation Gear and participating retailers. Sony’s official UK page now says Black Friday 2025 is over, so the figures below describe the announced promotion, not current prices or available deals. Sony’s announcement said offers varied by region and retailer, with local updates on its Black Friday site.
What Sony advertised for PS5 consoles
Sony listed two Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundles at US recommended prices. Each included PlayStation-exclusive in-game content and 1,000 V-Bucks.
| Console offer | Sony’s announced US price or discount | Details |
|---|---|---|
| PS5 Digital Edition Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle | $399.99 | 825GB storage; bundle included exclusive in-game content and 1,000 V-Bucks. |
| PS5 Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle | $449.99 | 1TB storage; bundle included exclusive in-game content and 1,000 V-Bucks. |
| PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition consoles | $100 off in select regions | Sony did not specify one universal price in its announcement. |
| PS5 Pro | $100 off | Sony announced a discount; local price and availability depended on the market and retailer. |
Sony described the Fortnite bundle promotion as a PlayStation exclusive until November 26, 2026. That statement concerned the bundle promotion, not the duration of the Black Friday sale.

Sony named Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Lost Soul Aside, Astro Bot and God of War Ragnarök among the games with offers. The maximum discount was Sony’s advertised upper limit, not a reduction applying to every game; the full selection and local savings were to appear when the sale began.

Who qualified for the PlayStation Plus offer
In participating countries, people who joined PlayStation Plus during the promotion could save up to 33% on a 12-month membership. Existing members could save 33% on the remaining membership period when upgrading from Essential or Extra to Premium or Deluxe. These were separate eligibility cases; Sony did not describe the 33% offer as a universal discount for every member or plan.
PlayStation Plus subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled. Sony’s announcement also described Premium cloud streaming for select digital PS5 games from a member’s library and the Game Catalog to PS5 and Portal. Game catalogs and streaming eligibility can change and vary by country, region and plan.
