The “up to $30 off” Nintendo Switch Black Friday headline refers to a sale reported in November 2025, not a confirmed 2026 offer. The prices below are historical: Nintendo’s 2024 announcement and reporting on the 2025 promotion document past deals, while Nintendo’s current sales page does not confirm a 2026 Black Friday game lineup.
Are Nintendo Switch games up to $30 off for Black Friday in 2026?
There is no verified 2026 Nintendo Switch game promotion in the sources available here. Nintendo’s Sales & Deals page lists digital games, downloadable content and merchandise, and tells visitors to check for featured offers; it does not confirm a Black Friday game lineup.
GamesRadar+’s early Black Friday 2026 page includes offers on some Switch 2-related products, including a Persona 3 Reload launch edition at $29.99. That is not evidence of a general discount on Nintendo Switch games or confirmation of the “up to $30 off” claim. See GamesRadar+’s early Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals page.
What the headline referred to
The exact headline matches a November 24, 2025 report about a holiday sale leading up to Black Friday. That report said selected Switch games were available for as little as $29.99, with some discounts reaching $30. Those were 2025 offers, not live prices. The matching report is available from Punjab Times.

When a 2026 promotion is announced, compare the product listing itself rather than relying on a headline or an old deal roundup. Keep these details together:

- Play your way with the Nintendo Switch gaming system. Whether you’re at home or on the go, solo or with friends, the Nintendo Switch system is designed to fit your life. Dock your Nintendo Switch to enjoy HD gaming on your TV. Heading out? Just undock your console and keep playing in handheld mode
- This model includes battery life of approximately 4.5 - 9 hours.
- The battery life will depend on the games you play. For instance, the battery will last approximately 5.5 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (games sold separately)
- Model number HAC 001( 01)
- Game and edition: Check that the listing is for the game and edition you want.
- Format: Confirm whether the offer is for a physical cartridge or a digital eShop download; the promotions may have different dates and terms.
- Price and savings: Compare the sale price with the stated regular or reference price. A discount amount is meaningful only against that comparison.
- Retailer and region: Verify the seller, geographic availability and stock. Past participation by a retailer does not confirm it will participate in a later sale.
- Dates: Check the start and end dates on the live offer. Historical dates do not carry over to a new year.
For a purchase link, verify the live retailer listing, edition, availability and price immediately before sharing it. The historical inclusion of Super Mario Odyssey or Pikmin 1 + 2 does not establish that either has a current discount.
