The application window for SBI’s 2024 Junior Associate special drive for Ladakh UT closed on 27 December 2024. It is not an open recruitment opportunity now: SBI’s careers page later listed preliminary and main examination results for the same advertisement. For any new vacancy, use SBI’s official Careers page and check that the notice is an active opening, not a result notice.
What the 2024 notice covered
This was a special drive for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) posts in SBI’s clerical cadre for Ladakh UT, including Leh and Kargil Valley, under Chandigarh Circle. It was not the bank’s broader all-India Junior Associate recruitment. The advertisement number was CRPD/CR-SPLDRIVE/2024-25/23.
SBI’s official notice set the online registration and fee-payment period from 7 to 27 December 2024. The “ends today” wording in the original headline referred specifically to 27 December 2024; the deadline has passed.
What happened after applications closed
SBI’s official recruitment-results page subsequently listed preliminary and main examination results for this same special drive. That confirms the process moved beyond applications. The listing does not make the old application form available again; consult SBI Careers for any later recruitment notice.

Who the drive was for
Local-language requirement
The official advertisement required proficiency in the specified opted local language for Ladakh UT. The languages identified in the notice were Urdu, Ladakhi, and Bhoti (Bodhi). It also stated that candidates could appear for the test only once under this recruitment.
Vacancies, age and fee reported at the time
Scroll reported 50 posts and an age range of 20–28 years as of 1 April 2024, with relaxation for reserved categories. It also reported a ₹750 application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates and fee exemption for SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and DESM candidates. These are details from Scroll’s 27 December 2024 report; candidates assessing the original criteria should rely on the full SBI advertisement and any amendments.

Selection dates reported in 2024
Scroll described the preliminary examination as tentatively scheduled for January 2025 and the main examination for February 2025. Those were tentative dates reported at the time, not guarantees of the eventual exam schedule. SBI’s later result listings show that both examination stages subsequently proceeded.
