The SBI PO 2025 admit card is not expected soon: the State Bank of India’s careers listing marks the 2025–26 recruitment as “FINAL RESULT ANNOUNCED.” The original notice had tentatively placed preliminary exam call letters in the third or fourth week of July 2025, a historical window that is no longer a current release forecast.
What is the current status of the SBI PO 2025 admit card?
SBI’s Current Openings page lists advertisement CRPD/PO/2025-26/04 as “RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS (FINAL RESULT ANNOUNCED).” It also lists the preliminary, main and final results, marks, and a letter to successful candidates. The 2025 recruitment has therefore moved beyond the admit-card stage.
The original notice, dated June 23, 2025, gave a tentative window of the third or fourth week of July 2025 onward for downloading preliminary examination call letters. That date is specific to the completed 2025–26 cycle; it should not be treated as a forecast for a later SBI PO recruitment.
Where should candidates check official updates?
Use SBI’s Careers – Current Openings page for the official recruitment record and any updates or corrigenda. The 2025 notification advised candidates to check the Bank’s website regularly. It does not establish the exact day the preliminary call-letter link first became available, so no specific release day or active download link should be assumed.

For that cycle, SBI said call-letter advice, where required, would be sent by email only; it would not send a hard copy. The careers page remains the appropriate place to verify official recruitment information.
How did the SBI PO 2025 selection process work?
The notice set out three phases, with shortlisting after each earlier phase determining who could proceed:
Rank #2
- Phase I: Preliminary examination. Candidates shortlisted from prelims could move to the main examination.
- Phase II: Main examination. Candidates shortlisted from mains could be called for the final phase.
- Phase III: Psychometric test, group exercise and interview.
The notice listed 541 vacancies for the 2025 recruitment: 41 backlog vacancies and 500 regular vacancies. SBI described the total as provisional and subject to change. It is a historical figure for this cycle, not a current vacancy update.

SBI cautioned that receiving a call letter or e-Admit Card did not mean a candidate’s candidature had been finally accepted. The notice states: “Mere issuance of call letter(s) / e-Admit Card(s) to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally accepted for the post.” Eligibility remained subject to verification.
For exam-day or interview logistics, the candidate’s individual call letter is the controlling source. SBI said candidates arriving after the reporting time stated on their call letter would not be admitted to the examination or interview centre.
