Verdict: Treat Quantum AI trading offers in Canada as high risk, not as a verified or legitimate investment service. Canadian regulators have issued registration warnings about specific Quantum AI names and websites in Québec, Saskatchewan, Alberta and New Brunswick. CIRO has also warned about a scheme in which fraudsters used the Quantum AI name to impersonate investment-industry employees. These notices are serious reasons not to send money or identity documents unless you have independently verified the exact firm and website. They do not, by themselves, prove that every business using a similar name is the same operator or establish a court finding of fraud.
What Canadian regulators have warned about
The warnings are jurisdiction-specific. Match the name and website in any offer against the regulator notice; a similar name alone does not establish that it is the same business.
| Jurisdiction and source | What the notice says | Name or website identified |
|---|---|---|
| Québec — Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), published April 17, 2026; updated July 24, 2026 | Quantum AI Trading is not registered with the AMF and is not authorized to solicit investors in Québec. | Quantum AI Trading; also “Quantum AI”; quantum-ai.ca, quantum-ai-trading.com and quantum-ai.io. AMF warning |
| Saskatchewan — Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority (FCAA), warning listed by the CSA as June 23, 2025 | Quantum Ai claims to offer cryptocurrency and contracts-for-difference trading but is not registered with the FCAA to trade or sell securities or derivatives in Saskatchewan. The FCAA cautions against sending money to unregistered companies. | Quantum Ai. CSA listing of the FCAA warning |
| Alberta — Alberta Securities Commission (ASC), caution-list entry added January 11, 2023 | Quantum AI Trading is not registered to trade in or advise on securities or derivatives in Alberta. | quantum-ai-trading.com and quantumaitrading.net. ASC caution list |
| New Brunswick — Financial and Consumer Services Commission (FCNB) | Quantum Ai Trading Canada is not registered to deal or advise in securities in New Brunswick; the listed location is unknown. | quantum-ai.ca. FCNB warning |
The CSA’s alert page also reproduces the AMF warning and its domain list: CSA listing of the AMF alert. Registration rules and regulator authority apply by jurisdiction and product. A warning that a named business is unregistered is not the same as a court judgment that it committed fraud.
What the CIRO impersonation alert means
In an investor alert dated June 29, 2023, the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) said fraudsters using the Quantum AI name impersonated IIROC employees, sought identity documents and financial details, and claimed to offer trading in forex, stocks, indices and commodities. CIRO said neither GIS Capital nor Quantum AI was registered with IIROC or a CIRO member. This is an impersonation warning; it should not be treated as proof that every later website using the Quantum AI name has the same operator.

Do the reviews prove Quantum AI is legitimate?
No. The retrieved Trustpilot profile for “Quantum AI Canada Trading” displayed three reviews and a 2.8 score, and Trustpilot cautions that the reviews may not be representative. One reviewer described repeated sales calls; another alleged difficulty withdrawing funds. Those are individual user-submitted accounts, not independently verified findings or proof of what all customers experience. A small review sample cannot establish who operates a service, whether funds are held safely, whether withdrawals work, or whether trading claims are genuine. Trustpilot profile.

What is not established about its trading claims
The cited regulator notices do not verify an operator’s corporate identity, independently audited trading results, or a working quantum-computing trading system. They also do not authenticate claims of guaranteed profits, AI performance or celebrity endorsements. Treat such claims as unverified unless supported by strong, independent evidence. A trading strategy described as “AI” or “quantum” is not evidence of regulatory authorization, reliable performance or protection against loss.

How to check an offer before sending money or documents
- Record the exact details. Note the website address, legal and business names, phone numbers, email addresses, claimed location, and the name of any person contacting you. Look for small differences in spelling or domain endings.
- Compare those details with the regulator notice. Check the relevant provincial regulator’s warning and the exact domain list. The notices above identify specific names and sites; do not assume a matching brand name alone confirms an operator’s identity.
- Verify registration and authorization independently. Use the relevant regulator’s own registration search or contact channel, reached independently rather than through a link or phone number supplied by the person soliciting you. Registration must match the legal entity and the activity being offered.
- Confirm unsolicited contact independently. Do not trust a caller’s claim to represent a regulator or registered firm. Contact that organization using details you obtained yourself. The FCAA also warns against allowing unknown or unverified individuals remote access to your computer.
- Pause if you cannot verify it. Do not send money, identity documents or financial details while the firm’s identity and authorization remain uncertain. A polished site, testimonials or promises of returns do not replace regulator verification.
If you have already been contacted or paid
- Stop sharing information or sending additional money while you independently verify who contacted you.
- Keep copies of messages, emails, website addresses, transaction records and payment details. Do not rely on contact information supplied in the solicitation to verify the firm.
- Contact your financial institution promptly if you sent money or shared payment details, and ask what protective steps are available for that payment method.
- Contact the relevant provincial securities regulator or CIRO through its independently located official channels to report or verify the approach.
- If someone asks you to install software or grant remote access, do not do so unless you have independently confirmed the request with a trusted provider.
