When was the RPSC SO exam in 2024?
“SO” refers to Statistical Officer. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) issued its press note on 15 February 2024 for the Statistical Officer Competitive Examination 2023. It set the exam for Sunday, 25 February 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Ajmer and Jaipur district headquarters.
The official notice allowed candidates an additional ten minutes to fill the fifth response option on the OMR sheet. Scroll reported that the recruitment drive aimed to fill 72 vacancies; that number comes from Scroll’s 19 February 2024 report, not the RPSC schedule notice.
What did the 2024 notice say about admit cards and exam districts?
RPSC said candidates could check their allocated exam district through the SSO Portal from 18 February 2024. Admit cards were to be uploaded to the RPSC website and SSO Portal three days before the exam.

The notice described two ways to retrieve an admit card: use the Admit Card link on the RPSC website with the application number and date of birth, or sign in to the SSO Portal and open the Recruitment portal. These dates and directions applied to the 2024 examination.
What were the entry and identification instructions?
Under the 2024 notice, entry was permitted only until 10:00 a.m.—one hour before the scheduled start. RPSC advised candidates to arrive early for security and identification checks. The notice required an original Aadhaar card with a color print; it described other original photo identification as acceptable only in specified circumstances if the Aadhaar document was unavailable. Candidates were also directed to read the instructions issued with their admit card.

Where should candidates look for a later RPSC recruitment?
The 2024 schedule is no longer actionable. For another RPSC examination, use the current notice for that recruitment rather than relying on these past dates or entry instructions. The Government of Rajasthan State Recruitment Portal provides admit-card and results navigation. Its listed RPSC helplines are 0145-2635212 and 0145-2635200.
