What the 329-post notice covered
The 329 vacancies were part of RPSC’s 2024 Assistant Professor (Medical Education) recruitment, identified as Advertisement 23/2024-25. Scroll.in reported the vacancy total and the application dates as 31 December 2024 through 29 January 2025.
Can you still apply?
No. The application period reported for Advertisement 23/2024-25 has passed. RPSC’s listings in late September 2026 included later-stage interview and result notices for this recruitment, including specialty-specific updates. The stage may differ by specialty, so use the relevant current RPSC notice to check an individual application’s status.
Do not confuse it with the February 2025 reopening
RPSC issued a separate notice on 10 February 2025 reopening applications from 12 February to 21 February for Nuclear Medicine and Endocrinology under Advertisement 18/2024-25. That was a different advertisement; it does not mean applications reopened for the 329-post Advertisement 23/2024-25 recruitment.

For specialty-wise vacancy counts, eligibility requirements, and selection rules, consult the official Advertisement 23/2024-25 notification and any applicable corrigenda. These particulars should not be inferred from the overall vacancy figure or from the separate Advertisement 18/2024-25 notice. The contemporaneous Scroll.in report also described a maximum age of 37 as of 1 January 2026, with category relaxations, and fees of ₹600 for general/unreserved applicants and ₹400 for specified reserved categories; verify such details against the official notification before relying on them.
