7-Eleven’s U.S. Bring Your Own Cup Day was held on September 13, 2025—not September 13, 2026. On the 2025 event day, customers at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores could fill one qualifying container with Slurpee drink for $1.99, while supplies lasted. The next announced U.S. event was September 19, 2026.
What was the September 13 offer?
For Saturday, September 13, 2025, 7-Eleven advertised a $1.99 fill for one qualifying cup at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations. The offer was limited to one cup per person, applied only on that date, and was available while supplies lasted. It covered Slurpee drink only; it was not a discount on other fountain beverages. 7-Eleven’s 2025 event announcement and rules set out the terms.
The announcement highlighted POWERADE XTRA SOUR Grape Shocker Slurpee and NERDS Strawberry Slurpee. Those were featured flavors for the 2025 event, not a guarantee of what a later event would serve.
What container qualified?
A purpose-made Slurpee cup was not required. 7-Eleven’s FAQ gives examples including thermoses, cookie jars, ladles, and punchbowls, provided a container meets the event’s conditions. The BYOC FAQ and the event rules specify that it must be clean, watertight or leakproof, and able to stand upright inside the store’s 10-inch display cutout.

No. The date in the headline refers to the 2025 U.S. promotion. 7-Eleven’s subsequent U.S. announcement scheduled the 2026 event for September 19, 2026, at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores.
