Important price note: Laptop Mag reported these seven Best Buy deals on June 2, 2025. The sale prices below are historical snapshots, not verified September 2026 prices. Check the current Best Buy Copilot+ PC listings before buying.

The reported offers ranged from $699 to $999, with advertised savings of $200 to $400. The best choice depends less on the biggest discount than on processor compatibility, form factor, storage, and whether detachable accessories are included.

What “Copilot+ PC” actually means

Copilot+ is a hardware class, not simply a marketing synonym for “AI laptop.” Microsoft defines a Copilot+ PC as a Windows 11 computer with a neural processing unit capable of more than 40 trillion operations per second, or TOPS. Microsoft’s comparison guidance also lists at least 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for the platform.

Qualifying systems can use Qualcomm Snapdragon X, Intel Core Ultra 200V, or AMD Ryzen AI 300-series processors. The seven configurations above use one of those platforms. Microsoft says Copilot+ experiences and other features can vary by device, region, and time, and some require Windows updates. See Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC explanation and its NPU device guidance.

A Windows 11 laptop with a Copilot keyboard key is not automatically a Copilot+ PC. The NPU capability is the important distinction.

Deal-by-deal analysis

Dell Plus 2-in-1, 16-inch: the strongest large-screen bargain

Historical deal: $699, down $250 from a reported $949. The configuration included an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, Intel Arc integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 16-inch WUXGA display.

The convertible hinge gives you laptop, tent, and tablet-style positions, while the large panel offers more workspace than the detachable models. It is a sensible value option for students, spreadsheet work, remote work, and presentations.

Main limitation: A 512GB SSD can fill quickly with games, video, or a large photo library. Confirm the exact display and processor configuration because Dell sells multiple systems under similar “Dell Plus” names.

Dell Plus 2-in-1, 14-inch: a portable x86 alternative

Historical deal: $749, down $250 from a reported $999. It used an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, Radeon 840M integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 14-inch FHD display.

This model combines a more travel-friendly size with an x86 processor platform and twice the listed storage of the 16-inch Dell. It fits buyers who want a convertible for commuting, note-taking, and general office applications without moving to Snapdragon.

Main limitation: The FHD panel is less spacious and less sharp on paper than the higher-resolution screens in this group. Verify that the listing is the Ryzen AI 7 350 configuration rather than a similarly named model.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1, 16-inch: flexible mainstream value

Historical deal: $749, down $250 from a reported $999. The reported configuration included a Core Ultra 5 226V, Intel Arc integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 16-inch 2K WUXGA display.

Its large convertible design is a good match for buyers who want a roomy screen and the flexibility to fold the system for presentations or casual tablet-style use. It is a direct alternative to the 16-inch Dell at the same historical price.

Main limitation: The 512GB drive may be limiting for large local files. Confirm the exact Copilot+ configuration, included accessories, and display resolution on Lenovo or Best Buy’s product page.

Acer Swift 14 AI: the biggest reported discount

Historical deal: $799, down $400 from a reported $1,199. The Acer used a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100, Adreno integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 14.5-inch IPS display.

This was the largest advertised reduction in the group and was positioned as a strong student choice. The combination of a portable screen, 1TB SSD, and Snapdragon platform is attractive for web research, Office work, streaming, and travel.

  • Stunning 16" FHD+ Touchscreen Display: Immersive 16-inch IPS touchscreen with FHD+ resolution provides vibrant colors and wide viewing angles. Perfect for creative work, streaming, and interactive productivity.

  • Premium Design for Professionals: Backlit keyboard enables comfortable typing in any lighting. Ideal for multitaskers, content creators, students, and professionals who demand performance and portability.

Main limitation: Snapdragon is an Arm platform. Before buying, check compatibility for critical Adobe or other creative applications, VPN and security clients, specialist peripherals, printer and scanner drivers, corporate management tools, and games that use anti-cheat systems. The discount does not eliminate that software risk.

ASUS ProArt PZ13: creator-oriented detachable

Historical deal: $849, down $250 from a reported $1,099. It included a Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100, Adreno graphics, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 13.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen in a detachable design.

The AMOLED screen and tablet-first format make the PZ13 the most creator-oriented design in this group, particularly for media consumption, sketching, and mobile presentation work. Microsoft lists the ProArt PZ13 among Copilot+ PC models.

Main limitation: AMOLED alone does not establish professional color accuracy, and the Snapdragon platform may not suit software that requires native x86 support. Confirm whether the keyboard, pen, charger, and other needed accessories are included. ASUS’s ProArt range can help identify the model family, but the exact Best Buy bundle matters.

ASUS ExpertBook P5: the business-focused option

Historical deal: $972, down $227 from a reported $1,199. The listed configuration used an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, Intel Arc integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 14-inch 2.5K display.

Among these seven, the ExpertBook is the most natural fit for business buyers who prioritize conventional Windows x86 compatibility, a traditional laptop design, and a sharper 14-inch display. Laptop Mag identified this product as an Editor’s Choice in its coverage; that is an attributed editorial assessment, not a new hands-on finding here.

Microsoft Surface Pro, 11th Edition: the tablet-first choice

Historical deal: $999, down $200 from a reported $1,199. The reported hardware included a Snapdragon X Plus, Adreno graphics, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 13-inch 2880×1920 touchscreen.

The Surface Pro is the clearest choice for someone who wants a tablet that can become a Windows laptop. Its high-resolution touchscreen and detachable design suit handwriting, reading, travel, and presentation use.

Main limitation: The reported deal information does not establish whether the keyboard was included. A Surface Pro without its keyboard may not be a complete laptop replacement, so calculate the total setup cost—including keyboard, pen, dock, and case—before comparing it with a conventional laptop. Microsoft identifies the Surface Pro 11th Edition or later as a Copilot+ device in its Surface support guidance.

Which one was the best deal?

Based on the reported specifications and product positioning—not fresh benchmark or battery testing—these are the most useful category picks:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Best advertised discount: Acer Swift 14 AI, with the reported $400 reduction.
  • Best large-screen value: Dell Plus 2-in-1 16-inch at the reported $699.
  • Best business-oriented option: ASUS ExpertBook P5, if its exact configuration and price remain competitive.
  • Best detachable for tablet use: Surface Pro 11th Edition, provided the keyboard cost fits the budget.
  • Best creator-focused design: ASUS ProArt PZ13, with the caveat that Snapdragon compatibility must be checked.
  • Best 14-inch x86 convertible: Dell Plus 2-in-1 14-inch, because its reported configuration paired Ryzen AI with 1TB storage.
  • Best large convertible display alternative: Lenovo Yoga 7i 16-inch.

There is no universal winner. A buyer dependent on legacy Windows software should generally start with Intel or AMD options. A buyer focused on battery-conscious travel and mainstream productivity may prefer Snapdragon, but should verify every application and peripheral that matters.

How to avoid paying more than expected

  1. Match the exact model: Check processor suffix, RAM, SSD size, screen resolution, and whether the product is new or open-box.
  2. Calculate the complete price: For detachable systems, add the keyboard, pen, dock, charger, and case if they are not included.
  3. Check conditions: Look for membership pricing, activation requirements, coupons, trade-in rules, marketplace sellers, shipping charges, and the return policy.
  4. Confirm software architecture: Snapdragon systems run Windows on Arm. Test or research compatibility for specialist applications, drivers, games, and corporate tools before the return window closes.
  5. Review storage needs: 512GB is adequate for many office users but can become restrictive for video, games, photos, or local AI models. Do not assume RAM or storage is upgradeable without service documentation.
  6. Check display details: WUXGA, FHD, 2K, and 2880×1920 describe resolution, not brightness, color accuracy, refresh rate, or battery life.
  7. Ignore unverified battery promises: “Up to” figures are manufacturer test-condition claims, not guaranteed real-world runtime.

Bottom line for shoppers

These seven laptops were credible Copilot+ PC deals below $1,000 when Laptop Mag reported them on June 2, 2025, but that does not make the prices current today. Use the historical list as a buying framework: choose the 16-inch Dell for low-cost large-screen flexibility, the Acer for the biggest reported markdown, Intel or AMD models for safer traditional Windows compatibility, and the Surface Pro or ProArt PZ13 only after confirming accessory costs. The decisive number at checkout is the current price of the exact configuration—not the old “save up to $400” headline.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
