All offer terms and product details in this table are reported by SlashGear’s October 2025 article. They are not a current Harbor Freight price check. Automotive tools: wrenches, an air impact wrench, and sockets
Pittsburgh five-piece flex-head ratcheting combination wrench set
The metric set was listed as 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15 mm, and the roundup also mentioned an SAE version. Its reported $21.99 Instant Savings price applied through October 30, 2025. A flex head and ratcheting action can be useful when a fastener is awkward to reach, but the article’s account of using the set during a cramped strut replacement is the author’s experience, not independent testing.
Earthquake XT 3/4-inch composite air impact wrench
SlashGear reported a $250 price and an additional $50 reduction during Harbor Freight’s Fall Coupon event. The article attributed 1,800 lb-ft of breakaway torque, an 8-pound weight, a twin-hammer mechanism, and through-handle exhaust to the wrench. These are specifications reported in that 2025 roundup, not a current verification.

This is the only pneumatic tool among the five picks, so using it requires an air-compressor setup. The roundup does not provide compressor requirements or a head-to-head test against other impact wrenches; check the current product documentation for compatibility with your compressor and intended work before buying.
Pittsburgh 13-piece 1/2-inch drive impact socket set
The roundup reported standard and metric options at $16.99, down from $20, through Instant Savings. It also cautioned readers to use impact-rated sockets with an impact wrench: ordinary sockets may crack, shatter, or round out under impact loads. The price is historical; the safety point is the article’s guidance, not an independently cited manufacturer or standards-body statement.

The article described six shelves, a long drawer, door storage, and a 1,200-pound storage capacity. It reported a $330 price, with an additional $60 off for Inside Track Club members. That member-only saving was not presented as an offer available to all shoppers. The roundup does not specify how the capacity was measured, so treat the figure as the product capacity cited by the article rather than a comparative load test.
U.S. General three-piece peg-type socket tray
The set was described as accommodating 1/4-, 3/8-, and 1/2-inch sockets, with ABS plastic construction and several color choices. Metric and standard sizing were both mentioned. SlashGear reported an $18 Instant Savings price versus $25 through the end of October 2025.

Which October deal fit which need?
- Working around restricted access: The flex-head wrench set was the pick for hand-tool jobs where reaching a fastener is the challenge.
- Using a pneumatic impact tool: The Earthquake XT wrench was the high-force option in the roundup, but it requires a suitable compressor setup. Pair an impact wrench with impact-rated sockets, not ordinary sockets.
- Adding storage and a work surface: The Yukon bench combined a mobile format with drawers, shelves, and door storage; its extra reported discount depended on Inside Track Club membership.
- Putting loose sockets in order: The U.S. General trays organize three drive sizes, while the Pittsburgh impact socket set supplies impact-rated sockets for 1/2-inch-drive jobs.
SlashGear said its selection drew on a review of Harbor Freight’s deals sections—including coupon deals, Instant Savings, Dollar Days, and Inside Track Club offers—and the author’s experience as a frequent customer, professional automotive technician, and DIY repair enthusiast. That is the publication’s stated selection method, not an independently audited comparison.
